Leaders representing the Roman Catholic Church and some American Protestant denominations have signed an agreement in Texas to recognize each other's baptisms.
After about six years of dialogue, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Reformed Church in America, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the Christian Reformed Church in North America, and the United Church of Christ signed a document recognizing each other's liturgical rites of baptism.
The five denominations signed the "Common Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Baptism," affirming the baptism agreement on Tuesday evening at a prayer service held at St. Mary's Cathedral in Austin....

Not at all. Do you really want me to show that the word world did not mean every little corner of the world. I am amazed at your naivete. Do you REALLY believe that the gospel had reached every person in the WHOLE WORLD! LOL
But maybe you would like also to answer the points I made to you.
Read my post again if you did not see your false doctrine first time around.

Yes he did, and it answers a lot of your false doctrine.
Please observe, John:
Romans 10:18-20 KJV 18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. 19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you. 20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
Now here is a most wonderful thing, and highly necessary, for "there are none that seeketh after God". See that, John? No-one seeks after God? Sure, no-one seeks after God.
And yet, a most wonderful thing occurs. God says that he is found by sinners. But these sinners are not seeking him, they do not want God, nor do they want to give up their sins. They do not believe Jesus has risen from the dead and can save them, they are unrepentant.
But God says, "I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me."

1. Paul had a hard time believing it but under inspiration of God he wrote that the gospel has gone out into all of the world. 2. The Bible says having known the truth unbelievers reject the truth in unrighteousness. 3. If the priest preaches out of the Bible then the gospel is preached. I know the church has many false teachings that have creeped in over the past 2000 years but they didn't always teach that stuff and some churches teach more biblically than others. 4. In some places it is not always possible to find another church.

Yes Michael; they have a Jesus that turned over His church to a sinful man with a pointed hat; a Christ they crucify daily; a Christ whose sacrifice was not sufficient to keep them in His love; a Christ who responds to His earthly mother in His heavenly realm, and of course every other abominable thought that this Satanic church can dream up. When these unrepentant RCs meet Christ on judgment day, they may say Lord, Lord, but He will say depart from Me I never knew you.
Ah, John Y., So, a lot of false religions recognize Jesus, but they are anti-Christian, Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses (PDF), I think well all consider conservative Lutheranism really quite close to Christianity (much more so that Catholicism) but Protestants do not recognize the Lutheran attitude about baptism Martin Luther's Sacramental Gospel and find Popish Baptism a blasphemy.

Catholics have always believed in and worshipped the biblical and historical Jesus
John Yurich. Jesus asked the question... "But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?" Matt 15.3.
Roman Catholics transgress the Commandment of God by their daily traditions, idolatry and maryolatry.
Thus Jesus declares... Matt 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
The Vatican, Pope and his legions teach for doctrines the commandments of men daily and numerously.
Therefore the RCC worship God in vain as Christ states.
Thus 'if' the Roman Catholics really knew Jesus they would not practice daily idolatry and maryolatry (Co-mediatrix) and all their other traditions.
The Roman Catholic 'jesus' is therefore completely false and unBiblical. That is why the RCC is run by the papal 'antichrist.' "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1Jn 2

@Frank: I read a post from you yesterday but don't see it now, anyway...thanks. I still pray for your daughter regularly as well I guess I should explain something; I'm very visual...somebody tells me something and it automatically turns into a storybook in my head, etc. I do the same thing with spiritual things...I try to imagine how something might look, how a process might operate, etc. For example, when I envision a prayer as a ball of energy being carried, by whatever means, to God, that's just how I imagine things happening in my own head. I don't surround myself with white light and imagine lightening shooting out from my 3rd eye or anything while praying...ha-ha. I don't ever visualize anything like this while praying, etc, but I do like to imagine how things might work while in daydreamingmode. I'm sure I'm always wrong, but it just helps me to turn intangible things into mental pictures/video. I wanted to clarify this because I know I word things in ways at times that may sound mystical.

John for Jesus Maybe like how a drunk preaching the gospel he heard as a boy is still used by God in bringing a bar owner to Salvation. Something we really ought to praise the inebriated blasphemer for, right?
Roman Catholicism is false from the roots (infant baptismal regeneration) but it doesn't stop there
The Roman Catholic Religion is false from the roots of who they imagine God to be AND their own Catechism officially signed by John Paul II tells us so
CCC 841 The Church’s relationship with the Muslims. “The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.”
For those leaning towards the RCC NOTE THIS WELL The Lord Jesus Christ is in no way Allah and it is blasphemy to say He is AND the devilish false god Allah is NOT Jesus Christ.

1. Correct. 2. Correct. 3. Correct.
John for Jesus. I would have thought you would be aware of these obvious facts if you are as you say "for Jesus." The "jesus" of the Roman Catholics is not the Biblical Christ and Saviour Known to real Christians. You should deal with the antichrist working at large in denominations and remember Christ's warning of those who profess Christ but who are not known savingly to HIM. As He Himself declares; Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

2. Truth in the ear can only reach the heart by revelation of God, and he does not do this for every man.
3. The Catholic Church does not preach the gospel, but a religion based on Christ +... It is a false gospel, and false gospels cannot save.
4. Let us suppose a person is a devout Catholic who is trying to work their way to heaven. If they have a Bible, and read it daily, they will have access to the gospel of God's grace. Now if God, in his mercy, enlightens their mind to the truth, quickens them by his Spirit, and works a work in their heart, such that they repent of their sins and religiosity and unbelief, they will experience salvation, they will be forgiven their sins, they will be given eternal life, adopted into God's family, and SEALED with the Spirit, thus having full assurance of peace with God. What do they do then? They depart from a church which has taught them NONE of these things, and they seek fellowship with others.

Who did Justin Martyr or St. Augustine hurt? No doubt we could play that game with Calvin and Luther.

There's been intramural Presby debate on Catholic baptism since at least the 19th century, no doubt exacerbated by both being pædobaptists. This is J.H. Thornwell's refutation of Charles Hodge (ca. 1845) that I found very instructive: Sacramental Sorcery
The UCC is no surpise either, since they (in word or effect) teach Baptismal Justification.
SteveR wrote: From their point of view, one must be sanctified before one can attain justification
"Roman Catholic theology does not embrace the interpretation of salvation and justification as that presented by Scripture and the Protestant Reformers. The Roman Church does teach that we are justified by grace through faith on account of Christ. What is missing, however, is the word alone. By omitting this word the Roman Church redefines grace, faith and justification in a way that undermines and invalidates the teaching of Scripture. This will become clear as we examine the specific definitions given these terms by the official Magisterium of the Church of Rome" The Roman Catholic Teaching on Salvation and Justification) (W.Webster)
