Leftists Bash Actress For Submitting To Husband

The left’s intolerance of Christianity extends much further than the debate over homosexuality, though. As actress Candace Cameron Bure recently discovered, any reference to one’s Christian values can cause a conniption among the perpetually offended progressive crowd.

She has been making the media rounds this week to promote her recent book, ‚ÄúBalancing It All: My Story of Juggling Priorities and Purpose.‚ÄĚ In it, she writes about her experiences as a working mother and wife; however, leftists have focused their attention on her adherence to the biblical principle of submitting to her husband.

Though she offered a sound, logical response to those who question her position, radical feminists have implicitly labeled her Public Enemy No. 1. ...

Dolores, Why would a man be against his wife having a college degree? Just because a woman is going to be a stay at home wife/mother does not mean she should not have a college degree in nursing and nothing else. It is important that a woman who is a stay at home wife/mother know about nursing in order to take her families blood pressure and perform other medical procedures.

My calling from God was to be a wife and mother. At one point in my life I wanted to be a teacher and I had the oppertunity twice to go with friends who car pooled to rhe nearest college. The first time I went as far to register but soon realized my husband was against so being a christian I saw it as a "no" from God.I already had two children and my husband worked for the power company and not much money coming in there. Three months later I got pregnant with third child and when he was 16 months old I had another son. Was it easy, no, was I fulfilled and happy yes. We did not have much as wordly goods go but we made it fine.My sons have more than rewarded me for any hardship I may have lived through by recalling their memories of me being a stay at home mom. God gave me my home and a hard working husband who wanted dinner on the table when he came in tired and hunger. We will be married 50 yrs. March 23rd.My daughter is a single mom and a teacher. Her life went in a different direction but her son is a teacher also and loves her dearly because he always came first with her and understands her struggles in raising him.

Is it true you're not going to let your wife "work," because while your off with the band, she'll be at the ranch taking care of the livestock and the 10 kids?

"unfulfilled and angry spinsters" - An excellent and perceptive phrase.

Feminists are unnatural in their views and the lifestyle which their views brings them into. That lack of natural fulfilment is something which emerges as a frustrated female who doesn't understand what is happening within her heart and mind. Sin dominates her heart and her life and as Paul describes this effect as "wretched" - the only solution is .....
Romans 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
