US immigration chief: Same-sex ties are family ties
Same-sex couples will be considered âfamily relationshipsâ in immigration proceedings, according to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, a move that could help stem the deportation of those in gay or lesbian binational relationships.
Close family ties to the United States are a factor considered by authorities in deportation cases, and gay and lesbian advocates have long argued for same-sex couples to have the same immigration rights as opposite-sex couples.
âIn an effort to make clear the definition of the phrase âfamily relationships,â I have directed ICE to disseminate written guidance to the field that the interpretation of the phrase âfamily relationshipsâ includes long-term, same-sex partners,â Napolitano said in a letter....

Questions: So howbeit that they which be illuminated by the same 'Holy Spirit' come to such a wrong conclusion, yet also claim to be guided by the very same TEACHER-THE Holy Spirit, which we all agree has promised to teach us 'all things'? Why be kept in such darkness?
The troublesome question is, how can they, claiming to be filled with the very same Holy Spirit, HATE the doctrines authored by the Sovereign Lord of their own Bible and biblicism?
Folk like Pastor Mike, still in total darkness, must wonder how some of God's most vociferous servants still remain partially blind and claim the very same illuminator?
as for forming a new party, the country is prepped for that....
but the dems and reps who replaced cohn with homld sec, and legalized abortion will tell us it can't be done...
they also told me Jesus Christ cannot save, that my ancestors are monkeys that came from primordial ooze and that my family's health syndromes were imaginary or unfixable, they told us the housing market was solid and that wall street investments would be a safe place to handle the inheritance of my forefathers and those who come after, that the food I order at fast food restaurants has been vetted for safety, they told me that psychology had all the answers to my generations problems, that the heavy metal runoff from fertilizer industry, flouride was good for me, that mercury fillings vaporizing in my mouth was no big deal, and that diabetes had nothing to do with our diet or microorbial imbalance but fate/genetics, told me babies in the womb are just lobs of flesh, that gm corn was good for me, that the gulf of tonkin was a provocation, and that the one child policies of china were humane.
If I listened to the advice of the powers that be, I would be deplorably sick, a hater of God, and thoroughly dooped.

Isn't it amazing Dan, that the biblical doctrines of free and sovereign grace are to us most wonderful, beautiful, and something to rejoice over and delight in; but to our arminist brethren and sisters they are quite evil and heretical? Of course, the majority of genuine arminists hate the doctrines of grace because they don't believe in a salvation which is WHOLLY by the grace of God.
All I know is, that if salvation required anything at all from within myself, I would still be a lost sinner to this day. So I can truthfully say, "To God be the Glory, Great Things He Hath Done."
And all the arminists replied, saying by way of quoting the later part of the hymn, "...and opened the LifeGate, that ALL may go in."

John, if your evaluation is accurate, then no amount of argument can have any effect, because a brainless person cannot think, speak, write, hear, see, understand ....... or vote.
It sort of reminds me of the sinner who is spiritually dead, and dead because of his trespasses and sins, dead because of his unbelief, dead because he was born dead. He is dead, like a corpse in a mortuary. Dead like a decaying body in a coffin 6ft under. Dead like a stillborn. Dead, as in NO LIFE whatsoever. That is, completely dead.
Believers can thankfully say to one another, "And YOU hath HE quickened, which were dead...."
Ah, the grace of God who raises the dead, and puts a song into their mouth; who strips off the graveclothes and covers the resurrectee with the glorious robes of Christ's Righteousness, having forgiven all sins through HIS blood shed in AD33 at Calvary, and creating a new creature in Christ Jesus.
Ahhhhh it's grand to be born again.
And that, despite it being the very last thing in life I desired.
This nation is becoming more and more insane under the Democrat leadership of Obama. It is hard to believe that some of you brainless Evangelical Protestants on here are against Romney when the alternative is another 4 years of Obama. And voting for an Independent presidential candidate is useless since an Independent presidential candidate stands zero chance of winning.
