Saudi ID'd as suspect in Boston bombings

Two explosions were heard near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday, and a federal law-enforcement source confirmed to The New York Post there are at least 12 dead.

Fox News said dozens were injured – the Boston Globe estimated 100 – including 10 whose limbs were amputated, following a large explosion. Then a smaller one happened a short while later.

Further, authorities then discovered at least two more devices that had not exploded and they were being dismantled by experts.

There was yet another device – a third explosion – at JFK Library in Boston, and fire officials said during a press conference it already had been linked to the ones at the marathon. ...

I don't know...I would think that there are many self appointed, America hating, radical Muslims running around doing their own thing. Many think about it; some get up the courage and have the wherewithall to carry out. Homegrown? I tend to say no solely because of the visciosness of the bombs themselves. They weren't only meant to disrupt, injure, and kill, they were meant to inflict any little bit of damage possible; near and far. The bombs were packed with nails, ball bearings, and other types of shrapnel. Seems to me that this person(s) has an unusual level of hatred.
Just thinking out loud...

I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem likely for this to be radical islamic. For one thing they like to boast of such things, which hasn't happened. It certainly wouldn't help the pres for them to be responsible. After all terrorism is over since the departure of Bin Laden, right? And HS has even made us safe from old women's knitting needles. Now if it were found to be a militia related thing, that would be useful in the war on guns, however disconnected.

Occasionally the BBC slips up and it has an interview with a person that doesn't follow PC. They had an ex-CIA or FBI official he said that the last four Presidents or Administrations (Hey they didn't repeat the interview and I can't find it on the BBC, or I'd let you watch it yourself) Now, perhaps this person sounded a little like Ron Paul but still he said it was the American culture the terrorists were attacking, but America's involvement by military actions in Islamic countries. He said if we get involved in wars in Islamic countries you can expect counterattacks. He also said it was a bad example that we set by losing the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ah, but I did find this excellent article, it's not very long and I'd suggest that you read it.

'"Is the U.S. waging a war with Islam?" If it isn't, it should be!'--Dr. Randall Price from the commentary at Are We at War with Islam?

I would suggest you look at the today's Jihad Watch for some of the latest news on this incident.

Probably a little cynical on my part but I bet the pro-abortion crowd welcomes any distractions from the Gosnell trial. Bombs ripping off limbs = 'Travesty'. 'Doctors' ripping off limbs = Choice. Events like these get our attention, but EVERYDAY thousands are being killed in this country. Someday, God will repay.
