Billy Graham still preaches the Gospel of inclusion

Billy Graham

MONTREAT, N.C. — Every morning the world’s most famous evangelist walks slowly and carefully up the narrow road twisting behind his log cabin. He sits on an iron bench, set in a clearing amid the pines where a tiny stream plunges down the ridge to form an icy pool far below.

Here, Billy Graham, 86 and every day more frail, prays, “Help me, Lord.” Here, he practices his voice, a habit of 40 years, “like an opera singer does the scales. Yes. Yes. Yes. No. No. No.”

He’s warming up for his 417th crusade — three nights of Christian testimony and music in New York, culminating in his inimitable call to come forward to God. The event in late June will be his first appearance in the city since he packed Central Park in 1991.

Today, as many fundamentalists and “traditionalists” refuse to share podiums with people who don’t share their vision of salvation, Graham opens his events to people of every ...

Ed from the you know!
I leave this entire conversation to whoever desires it. I have stated my defense of my brother Billy, and have also made it clear of my convictions. I must now dust my feet off and move on to the next town. Perhaps we'll meet again when your hearts are more receptive to the inclusion of the entire WORLD. But until then, keep seeking the heart of God, rather than the heart of religion, seperatism, legalism, and schisms. Both Billy and myself will see you all in Heaven, where we will not be the least bit perturbed upon seeing you up there with us. We'll have a good time loving on each of you eternally, never remembering the words of condemnation and hatred that you hurled at us while on earth. With much progressive love. Ed from the South.

Walt, considering my rebuke and refutation of Ed, has been primarily qouting scripture, and considering how much time Ed was spending here peddling his false doctrine and destructive heresies, strong rebuke was certinly called for.

Ed, has continued to speak his vain words, which the Lord commanded him not!

May Ed repent while he has space, because God's wrath and anger is certainly fearful for all who speak falsely in his name and turn the grace of our God into lasciviousness!

Jud 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Act 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Act 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Act 20:30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
Act 20:31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Indeed, we are witnessing this here on this board.

Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
Rom 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

There is such a deceiver on this board. He has posted volumes of good words and fair speeches. We should avoid him.

Just to let you guys know, neither TBN nor any of its affiliates such as Benny Hinn agree with all of what I am saying in defence of Billy Graham and in open acknowledgement of my personal convictions. But neither do they nor anyone who has a revelation of Christ believe in your rhetoric either. And the only church that would put me out is the type of church that has already put Christ out. Maybe the only reason why His Truth has no place in your heart is because His presence has no place in your church of worship. But not because He's rejecting you, but because you're rejecting Him, which is what you're doing whenever you reject His servants such as myself and Billy Graham. Or have you forgotten His words again?

Anthony - As you like it, but life is short, and it is impossible to set everyone straight. Once a discussion ceases to be of general instructional benefit, my policy is to move on. Perhaps in addition to a RESET button to return to the main thread, we need a EJECT button for the yo-yo.

Russel, this wolf named Ed, who is a supporter of that wolf Billy Balaam Graham, shares in the same heresy!

Therefore I do not think it irrelevant or off topic to deal with Ed,s heresy!

Likely we will not agree, in any case you are not the Holy Spirit!

Anthony,

I was not paying much attention to your previous dialogue with Ed and noticed you were a bit tough on him, but now I see.

He wrote:

"May your sleep be as peaceful as the peace that I have in my heart concerning the truth that Jesus Christ has already saved the entire world, whether you like it or not, and whether Anthony agrees with it or not."

See, this is what is wrong with the current evangelical, non-denom., independent, Charismatic movement. This guy would not last a day in our church without being sincerely and really taught the Scriptures. He would need and be required to lay down his private interpretations through spiritualism and concede to the Scriptures.

I can see why the non-denom, independent moving is booming in this country. Everyone is walking around nilly willy with all these private spirits giving them all sort of views...it is just wild to see over here.

The Benny Hinn, TBN and other ministers are likely promoting this stuff...and some of these guys (like Ed) are mixing that with their own private spiritual revelations to come up with all sorts of crazy views.

Ed needs a check-up from the neck-up!

Anthony, I must leave you now. You've awakened the fury in your heart, and I must leave you to yourself before you destroy that which Christ has paid dearly for. Be open to the Truth, and please don't allow it to unsettle you as it is obviously doing. And Remember! You have a whole audience looking at your fury be showcased for all. Be a bit more careful in your rage, brother. It causes others to be a bit concerned about the state of your heart.

Rus, maybe you need to rest your weary mind also. I can see some of the same symtoms that were beginning to plague Walt coming up you. I need you to get your rest so that you can fight these so-called wolves as you're doing so poorly. By the way, I did not know that sheep were into fighting wolves. I thought wolves fight sheep. So who's truly behaving like wolves? Us who uphold the worldwide love of Christ? Or yous who are barking and snapping at us innocent sheep? Remember, be wise as a serpent and yet harmless as a dove. Have you so easily forgotten the words of Christ, fellas? But that's my job - to lovingly remind the brethren of what's written.

Ed, Walt, and company -- You need to take your private discussion elsewhere. Be considerate of other visitors to sermonaudio.com. Exchange email addresses and go fight to your hearts' content -- somewhere else.

This topic is about a long-haired wolf in sheep's clothing -- Billy Graham -- who, though old and decrepit, still poses a serious threat to the flock of the Lord.

Ed, your kisses are no more pleasing in God's sight than was Judas kiss when he betrayed the Lord Jesus Christ!

BTW God keeps all his own Joh 10:5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

The Lord rebuke you!

Go and get some sleep Walt. I would hate for you to become more dizzy than you already are. You keep seeking out the Truth because I'm sure that you too are not far from the Kingdom. I'll be thinking of you my dear brother. May your sleep be as peaceful as the peace that I have in my heart concerning the truth that Jesus Christ has already saved the entire world, whether you like it or not, and whether Anthony agrees with it or not. IT IS FINISHED.

Hey Anthony, you're my sure test of love, brother. I am learning greater depths of love for people such as yourself who are virtually unreachable by Truth at this point. But you know what? I ain't mad at ya, though I am sad for ya, because the Truth is so liberating. Two big kisses on the cheek from one brother to another brother.

Walt, it's obvious that you cannot clarify yourself, which is probably the reason behind you being confused about my remarks. I am very clear with what I mean, unlike yourself. You are jotting words with little or no substance. And Preacher Graham has not caused any greater division than you and your counterpart has on this sight with your opinions that are definitely not in line with forgiving your brother 490 times in a single day if necessary. What happened to if your brother is caught in a fault that you are to forgive them just as you were forgiven in Christ? And you talk about Graham's fruits, what about your own? What kind do you produce? What if your fruit were placed in the limelight of cameras, microphones, videos, cassette recorders and the like? Would we find anything in you that would come short of perfection and righteousness? Without me judging, I must answer that for you - YES WE WOULD. Rest.

Rev 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
Rev 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Did Jesus Christ preach inclusionism?

Did he tolerate false doctrine?

I think I will follow Jesus Christ's directions and example and not tolerate your soul damning heresies Ed!

Ed, now you have really lost me again.

You said:

"Who made you a shepherd of sheep to say who's in the fold and who's out of it? I thought the wheat and the tare were suppose to be left alone until the angels do the separating on that DAY. Or is it that day?"

I have no earthly idea who the Lord is going to save prior to their death, or frankly who has been saved already. In fact, there are some that I likely think are saved that are deceivers of the highest rank, and others whom I do not believe are saved, but the Lord knows His own.

So, frankly, I have no idea about Billy (or even Franklin) Graham, but I know that by their fruits they AS MINISTERS OF JESUS CHRIST they sure have caused a lot of division and confusion within the faithful Christian church, and has rather opened up a global following for those who are living in the world of private spiritualism.

May I safely assume that you are totally convinced that private spirits are the final litmus test as to what the Holy Spirit teaches?...or can we say that anytime we find private spirits in conflict with the Holy Spirit in the Scripture that the Scripture takes precedence.

Or, like Rome, is it the sacred tradition (e.g., read private spirits) that takes precedent.

News Item5/22/05 9:22 PM
Ed from the South
Dear Walt, you've not been lost by my words, brother. That was done by some other person. And don't choke over the fact that I chose not to reply to your sarcasm. Why don't you just deal with what I did say, which was of much more substance than either you or your counterpart had to say. You're a smart brother answer it for yourself. In fact, I will approach this as Jesus once did: I will answer your question if you will first answer mine - "Who made you a shepherd of sheep to say who's in the fold and who's out of it? I thought the wheat and the tare were suppose to be left alone until the angels do the separating on that DAY. Or is it that day?

Sorry about that.

Ed from the South
My dear confused brothers, Anthony and Walt, how long will you love ignorance? How long will you embrace that which Christ eradicated? How long will you two wander around in the darkness of your so-called rightness? How shall you ever come to a loving agreement with Truth? Where shall your ignorance to Good News cease to be prevalent in your heads and upon your tongues of fire and brimstone? When shall you two speak words of encouragement and love instead of resentment and bigotry? When will you help to lead us so-called sinners to the so-called true path? How can you say that I and others are false when we embrace Christ and His whole message of Reconciliation? Think about it! Only you two at this point are rejecting the finished works of Christ; only you two. Sure, that's what you're doing by lessening what Jesus Christ has done for the entire world. It's safer for me to include than it is for you two to exclude. Your exclusion has more damning effect upon our society than my inclusion does. And just think about this: Neither of you will ever know who is exactly included or excluded until you both get to the other side. Maybe in Heaven we can finalize this conversation , ha? And guys, please don't feel wo-ish for this eternally saved & loved brother in Christ.

Ed, you wrote:

"So whenever you are able and ready to turn to words wiser than your own, then maybe you can receive some of these precious jewels that I have been given by revelatory knowledge through the Holy Spirit."

I know that the holy spirit movement is growing by leaps and bounds in this country, and the churches are being built larger and larger for the charismatic, evangelical and pentecostal movements. You guys are packing them up toward the rafters.

Do you see any problem with any private spirits conflicting with the Holy Spirit speaking in the Scriptures?

How does the evangelical movement view the issues where a persons private spirit filled revelation conflicts with the faithful interpretation of Scripture?
