Gates Foundation Pushing Dangerous Contraceptives on Black Populations

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is taking fire from leaders of Black organizations and human rights advocates for funding and promoting a new form of the controversial contraceptive Depo Provera, particularly aimed at women in Africa and developing countries. Melinda Gates, wife of Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates, recently told the New York Times that she is championing wide distribution of the drug as a result of talking to poor women around the world. But Kwame Fosu, policy director for the Rebecca Project for Human Rights, says Mrs. Gates’ claims are “disingenuous” because the women she claims to be helping are not being informed about the dangers involved.

“No African woman would agree to being injected if she had full knowledge of the contraceptives’ dangerous side effects,” Kwame Fosu told C-FAM, the Catholic Family & Human Rights Institute. “In fact,” claimed Fosu, “in countries where ...

"Don't you know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body." (1 Corinthians 6:19, 20)

"and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)

"For Adam was created first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and transgressed. But she will be saved through childbearing, if she continues in faith, love, and holiness, with good judgment." (1 Timothy 2:13-15)

"Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship." (Romans 12:1)

"Then Jesus told them, 'Give back to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.' And they were amazed at Him." (Mark 12:17)

So, to whom does your body, including any reproductive rights belong to, speaking as a Christian?

Also - vaccines ??? Duh have you any idea of how vaccines have improved life expectancy. Now I know about the risks and side effects of vaccines, but possibly the biggest break through in medicine was the development of vaccines. Diseases like smallpox and typhoid etc couldn't imagine how horrific life would be with these bad boys still around.

I maybe in the minority - but I happen to think contraception is a wonderful thing, if I still needed to use a contraception I would probably use the depo provera

this is not accurate.

there are three mechanisms, which in private I would be glad to explain in detail, but will not torture the gentlemen here with.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depo-Provera

the third mechanism, thinning of endometrium is abortifacient, would happen at roughly one week after conception, preventing implantation.

and lots of info out on side effects, in fact, a local pregnancy resource center might help out with better information than Lisa is repeating about controlling populations and all that jazz. and this is why we have Europe that is muslimized, the westerners were told not to have children.

I am glad that people are calling out Bill Gates. He openly says his goals are depopulation and then extols vaccines and pregnancy control centers for that means, puts incredible amounts of money into Africa to convert them to gm grains, and then lo to find out, he really wasn't a nobody in the first place, his father a leader in planned parenthood. and before anyone disagrees, please go check it out for yourself.

Sorry this artical is so biased and warped I couldn't stomach reading it right to the end. What evidence do they have that depo provera causes HIV ? All hormonal contraceptives have ( low rate) side effects and some severe but compared to people having a recurrent unwanted pregnancies, the risk is minuscule. I would be quite happy to believe that bill gates was a bad guy, but this artical is simply manipulation of non medically trained people to see bad where there is none. To make an understanding of this you need to look at statistics and population studies....this artical is scaremongering load of trash.
Well, it is The New American, which if I remember right is the magazine of The John Birch Society. Anything from them, Huffington Post, WND, or similar firnge outlets I take with a grain of salt.

Ah birth control.....it gives a person the power to play God (or so they think). After all, it's "their body" and they can control the womb-open and close it when they like. Yes sir-ree the power of creating life is within our means. Or is it? Anyways, birth control is a non-surgical method of abortion.
Thank you for stating this. Whenever I read about the matter of Christians and birth control, Psalms 127 and 128 particularly come to mind. Why would a Christian want to refuse an heritage of the Lord and a reward from Him? We have become too influenced by the world. We're afraid we won't be able to keep up with the Joneses, can't maintain the girlish figure, won't have as much free time and money as we used to, etc. It is also because we often don't trust God to meet our needs (not wants; there is a difference) in providing for and raising those children.

God's blessings do not just mean automatic ease, comfort, luxury, absence of struggle, etc. But that doesn't mean they aren't blessings. Being married and raising children is often difficult. But they are both from God (cf. Proverbs 18:22 & Proverbs 19:14, in addition to the Scriptures above), and God is good.

Sf- this depo is taken every 12 Weeks. Some studies claim that it has a 100% success rate at preventing pregnancy. It works by disrupting ovulation- btw I could ask around and every single drug on the market would have given someone some side effect- there's also a placebo effect. You got to look at population studies and also compare eg the disruption of the menstrual cycle with a pregnancy. Menstrual disruption settled after several injections. In an ideal world there would be no unwanted pregnancies but in reality we live in a fallen world... Just a though - that little lass found with the gypsies in Greece ( destined for a life of sexual exploitation) and the mum who had 8 kids in a different country who sold her...,

A good read is Randy Alcorns book, Does the Birth Control Pill cause Abortions? You can find the PDF free online.

As for depo provera, I have a friend who took ONE shot and it messed her up for over a year. She went months without a cycle and even bled straight for a whole month. Se had other issues as well. That was after one shot and you're suppose to take the shot monthly or close to that.

Yep John planned parenthood is extremely racist. That's why 90% of their clinics are in minority neighborhoods.

This Kwame Fosu guy is cracking me up. All he's missing is a reference to Agenda 21, and he could be peddling a script for a blockbuster conspiracy theory movie.

Of course the Gates Foundation is racist because they wish to decrease the black population. Sanger the founder of Planned Parenthood was also a racist.
