Saudi ID'd as suspect in Boston bombings

Two explosions were heard near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday, and a federal law-enforcement source confirmed to The New York Post there are at least 12 dead.

Fox News said dozens were injured – the Boston Globe estimated 100 – including 10 whose limbs were amputated, following a large explosion. Then a smaller one happened a short while later.

Further, authorities then discovered at least two more devices that had not exploded and they were being dismantled by experts.

There was yet another device – a third explosion – at JFK Library in Boston, and fire officials said during a press conference it already had been linked to the ones at the marathon. ...

There are plenty folks on here who isolate and extract verses to satisfy themselves, so perhaps one of them could help you.

Sorry you lost me on the isolate and extract part, but to be sure the chapter divisions, verse numbers, punctuation, and placing of paragraphs are not in the originals. It does however make it easier for us to navigate the Scriptures. I really don't know of anyone who thinks chapters and verses are inspired and you would be the first I have heard that didn't find them helpful, if that is what you are saying.

1. Psychiatry. a mental disorder characterized by systematized delusions and the projection of personal conflicts, which are ascribed to the supposed hostility of others, sometimes progressing to disturbances of consciousness and aggressive acts believed to be performed in self-defense or as a mission.
2. baseless or excessive suspicion of the motives of others.
Being 'vigilant and on guard' is a pole apart from paranoia. They are not synonyms for the same thing.

You will deservedly get branded as a conspiracy nut if you yourself freely bandy about words like paranoia (see definition 2). Try democratic and constitutional accountability instead.
Most Christian's would reject Gofman's sociological analysis, yet you seem to be endorsing it. Lefties and liberals love it.

Hmmm...you certainly live up to your Alias. Thank you for the loving rebuke.

exactly. We are told to be vigilant and on guard. Too many "Christians" have fallen asleep while the wolf prowls the herd unmolested. If we talk about the ulterior motives of the gov't, we are branded as conspiracy nuts. But we have to keep alert, watching the earth and watching the skies.

good thoughts, master's slave. they've got everyone frantic again. best time to direct people towards hating one group or another for whatever the next market or movement is. "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" -- trust but verify. its not enough that just because a tv screen says something, that its right, I've seen their techniques and they are very effective. the tv show appears to have been put out some weeks ago.... there are a lot of legimitate questions that should be asked and are being asked, and that's a good thing. there's a lot of rumors going around and lots of raising up people's fears..... and it is good to seek the truth, but Christians should be the calmest in days of trouble, because perfect love casts out all fear and Christ has a place for us.
Yes, for sure. some paranoia is good, but not to the point where it paralyzes us from doing our work here on earth.

CNN reported a while ago that there had been an arrest of a dark skinned man for the bombings. They were stressing that just because there has been an arrest doesn't mean the person is guilty. Already protecting...

Anyway, the AP just posted that law enforcement officials are denying any arrests. Hmmm.

Family Guy, this show is also extremely irreverent of God, Jesus, Christianity, etc. I won't watch it anymore but I have seen and heard some things that sure made me cringe in horror that such things could ever be uttered or enacted.

master's slave, did you notice the other topic that is being discussed all over the place? that Family Guy episode? that was interesting too. both clips were from a recent episode. not sure why people would consider watching a cartoon character use devices to hurt people and win a race would be "entertainment", but I guess people watch that stuff thinking it isn't real.
Just watched it yesterday. There needs to be accountability here. One just can't devise all sorts of "entertainment" and give people ideas and just wash one's hands of any fallout. I was told that this bombing was a drill, and the people were just part of the drill. Yikes if this true.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and LET US RUN WITH PATIENCE THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE US,

Actually, I hope they did. It may help them catch the evil murderer(s)!

The assessment of any intelligence received is a judgment call, short of a coded warning using a recognised password, and is a very difficult responsibility. Those who bear that burden are worthy of your support, even when there failures - indeed especially when there are failures.

Any knave do the Monday morning quarterbacking, but few can bear the burden of the responsibility of intelligence work.

Well at least we know that this supposed bombing was not God's judgment because competitive race-running and trying to beat your brother and neighbor to make them feel bad is certainly scriptural because, "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain." 1 Corinthians 9:24 English Scriptures

No problem, Pastor Hammack. I just heard now that the Saudi is being treated as a friendly; a witness. Problem for me is the fact that this same person had items, and black trash bags carried from his residence during a warranted search...yet he's a witness?
