Saudi ID'd as suspect in Boston bombings

Two explosions were heard near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday, and a federal law-enforcement source confirmed to The New York Post there are at least 12 dead.

Fox News said dozens were injured – the Boston Globe estimated 100 – including 10 whose limbs were amputated, following a large explosion. Then a smaller one happened a short while later.

Further, authorities then discovered at least two more devices that had not exploded and they were being dismantled by experts.

There was yet another device – a third explosion – at JFK Library in Boston, and fire officials said during a press conference it already had been linked to the ones at the marathon. ...

Assuming there is some bombing, where is the proof the two brothers did it?

Official: FBI interviewed older suspect in 2011

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A federal law enforcement official says the FBI interviewed the older Boston Marathon bombing suspect at the request of a foreign government in 2011 and that nothing derogatory was found.

The official says the FBI shared its information with the foreign government. The official did not say what country made the request about Tamerlan Tsarnaev or why.

The 26-year-old was killed overnight in a shootout with police outside Boston; his younger brother remains at large.

The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak about the case publicly.

well, I would say most things are!

the word just means two or more making plans.

most the time, to pull off some terrible thing its going to take the planning of two or more.

if they are looking for two suspects, then in essence, it is a conspiracy.

so, just like "bullying" has a double meaning, why is there a constant drum on the programming channels to tell us that "conspiracy" is a bad worth.... its the essence of the judicial system and good journalism to uncover those behind the scenes, isn't it?

Chris, ah even that liberal bastion, and there are probably even ones more liberal think there may be more people involved than these two brothers. Ah, not that they gave it much emphasis, but their expert a former member FBI said the govt. will at least look to see if the elder brother especially made any trips outside the U.S., and ended up in some training camp. I would say at least when it comes to Islamic matters, Robert Spencer in his Jihad Watch seems to do a good job of reporting Islamic problems. islam: The Religion of Peace has been shown to have a worldwide agenda and there are still The Two Faces of Islam . . . Still Smiling.

Anyway, how do we know any of this really happened as we are told?

If you live in the US, then yes, I was, but you could have just ignored the comment since I can't go back in time. That would be cool though...

Anyway, not everything is a conspiracy. Who do you think is responsible and to what end, or are you just saying, "who really knows" to it all?

The Total Depravity doctrine predicts this outcome including murder, mayhem and madness, culminating in multi-faith services usually held at the largest local religious venue with a quasi-religious president doing his best to quote from the Bible. Eventually we'd no doubt be "plagued by an Islamic insurgency." Total Depravity makes all of this a no brainer.

What I don't like when things like this happen are all of the interfaith vigils because they are meaningless for most and they give a false sense of security.
When things like this happen, everyone joins hands and they sing koombyya (I probably really butched the spelling) everyone suddenly becomes holy and friendlly, yet it's all meaningless and empty...in vain. We don't all serve the same God and these same people that light the candles and sing hymns lead lives that show no evidence of Christ being within them. They are only holy while in church or for a short time following a tragedy, but then, it's always back to life as usual. Not all, of course, but most. I just don't like these temporary acts of Godliness, holiness, and "we are one" chants when nothing ever takes for long.

Yeah, John B...many within our own governments and law enforcement agencies are guilty themselves of unspeakable acts of violence/murder. Makes me ill when thinking about what they get aeay with along with their above the law attitudes. Many of them arrest, ticket, or whatever, people for doing the very same things that they themselves do.
Iet them deal with these two Russian brothers, and God will deal with them...eventually.

So those with the FBI are looking for two people to blame this alleged bombing on? Strange indeed, since those State Supremacist wackos with the FBI are themselves guilty of terrorism.

Oh, let's not forget those cowards who murdered women and children in Waco, to name but one bloodshed event.

This is a new blog that I have just started. It will be a blog focusing on men. In a world where women seem to rule the roost and the men are sitting on the eggs, something needs to be done to right this ship before it goes down. Women of Christ, you know what I mean and I pray that you send your men here to find men of like steel, and some good steak to chew on."
Daft Muffin? - that loving rebuke should really encourage their husbands to come and read.
Men of like steel? - unless they disagree with you, then they better need be bendy steel.
Glad you like my blog! The name came from my five year old girl. Hope you peruse both of my blogs and I pray you are encouraged, challenged and built up in Christ. Yes men need to be like steel, and as anyone who has worked with steel, it is naturally flexible.

Oh, I think this is quite clear:

2 Timothy 3
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
17 that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. ---NASB

My suggestion is most people follow that golden oldie Matthew Henry, who knew you have to study context of a verse or you might read into it something instead of getting out of it what you should.

You would realize by looking at more than one verse, that Use and Purpose of Tongues, Prophecy, and Serving, that the gifts of tongues or prophecy are no longer with us today. There is no use for them.

As far as verse numbers paragraphs, they weren't in the original Scriptures, and sometimes paragraphs were divided awkwardly when it was first done. This is one reason that the NIV deemphasized line numbers, and I don't know if it's translators rearranged any of the paragraphs or not.
