Obama, Cheney, Bush and Powell in New Pro-Gay Marriage Ad

A new advertisement launched by the Respect for Marriage Coalition on Wednesday shows U.S. President Barack Obama, former first lady Laura Bush, former vice president Dick Cheney, and former secretary of state Colin Powell, all speaking out on their support for same-sex marriage in the U.S.

For example, Cheney and Obama have previously had numerous disagreements regarding national security, yet they agree on the topic of same-sex marriage.

The advertisement features previous clips of Cheney, Obama, Bush, and Powell discussing their support for same-sex marriage. ...

Not defending her, just sharing the news. As far I know, she has not retracted or changed her opinion.

I am sure they would want to do that - if she actually retracted her longstanding opinions, which she has not.

If Laura Bush is embarrassed, she deserves to be.

Rufus, good observation. The below is supposedly a quote from Andrew Quigley; Clinton's mentor. Even if the quote isn't true, but I think it is; the comment is still true.

"The chief problem of American political life...has been how to make the two Congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can 'throw the rascals out' at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy."[8]

The politicians and "leaders?" of western nations disagree with many topics - Yet they all agree with Sodom and Gomorrah.

Demonstrating their evil and moral defect they legislate to send people to hell and teach children how to grow up degenerate.

But the real satanic work amongst the nations is the churches(?) that ditch the Bible to keep the sin.

Thus do we see Liberalism in the institutions is a poison, a pollution and a disease which spreads throughout the western nations.

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Hmmm! Maybe it would be a good idea to increase the number of gun store arsenals in America. When morals are abandoned the next step is decline in justice.

amen to SA for posting this and to the comments below. its more than "liberalism", it is the fallen nature of man, and those who do not have the light of Christ in them, who have pursued power at all costs.

Rufus,
You hit the proverbial nail on the head. Does not matter the colors they fly, it is the same army. There may be in fighting, but the results are the same. This country is really running out of its borrowed time.

Can we now begin to see that there is no difference between Democrans and Republicrats? Even the idea that Cheney and Obama had "numerous disagreements regarding national security"...it's the same policy. Obama took Bush/Cheney's war on terrah, injected it with steroids and rebranded it. They are the same party with the same masters with little that differentiate thmeselves in deeds though sometimes their words be different.

Another example of words being use contrary to their meaning. The meaning of "Respect for Marriage Coalition" is quite the opposite of what the organization stands for. Thus language is misused in such a way as to put opposers of "gay marriage" on defense. (Who can object to "respect for marriage"?) And the actual defenders of marriage naturally never call them on it, but go on as if nothing has happened.

It is so sad to see so many people in our society totally blind to the meaning and purpose of marriage. These liberals think they are being loving to homosexuals, but they are really showing the greatest contempt for them by “affirming” them in a soul-destroying delusion that will exclude them forever from the kingdom of God. To give the legal status and benefits of marriage to homosexuals is to remove the barrier of societal disapproval from them, and that is an utterly hateful thing to do. If I see a blind person walking toward the edge of a cliff, is it loving to remove a handrail on the edge of the cliff so that he walk over the edge without impediment. That is what these liberals are advocating. Their advocacy of so-called "gay marriage" is not loving in the least; it is simply a way of 'washing their hands' of homosexuals by caving in to their demands. It is an expression of the deepest contempt for the homosexual; and at the same time, it shows a total disregard for the effects that this deliberate 'blurring" of the lines between healthy and perverted living will reap in our society-- the effect it will have on future generations who will be more confused than ever about God‘s design for human sexuality. Has the whole world gone nuts? How arrogant, for politician
