The 17-year-old pop superstar is a Christian and believes there is a higher power guiding everyone's lives, but he doesn't go to church to affirm his faith and instead focuses on praying to God in private.
He told V magazine: "A lot of people who are religious, I think they get lost. They go to church just to go to church. I'm not trying to disrespect them . but for me, I focus more on praying and talking to Him. I don't have to go to church."
Where is your bible verse that commands us church attendance is necessary for salvation? Did the early church meet in a designated building and what was their 'denomination'?
Will your church attendance grant you entrance into heaven? What is the biblical definition of 'church'?
Your purpose here is to discredit Protestantism and exalt Roman Catholicism as the 'supreme religion'. You offer nothing more than an opinion, which holds no water when compared to the holy, inspired word of God.
John Yurich USA wrote: Yes attending church for someone who is Born Again and for anyone else is important. But attending church and being a member of a church is totally superfluous to salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven because nowhere in the Bible is church membership mentioned as being requirement for salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven.
Although, above is accurate for modern Protestants, it's not been followed by all Protestants over these 500 years:
"Those to whom he is a Father, the Church must also be a mother." -John Calvin, Institutes of the Christian Religion, Book IV, Chapter i, Section i (The Necessity of the Church)
Not attending church is no indication this young man isn't a Christian; the fact that he allows himself to be an idol, he desires fame and fortune are not the type of fruit a humble Christ follower exhibits. Yes, true believers do assemble together to hear the word of the Lord, but with the sad state of most apostate churches and dead religions in America, not going isn't a crime. If the Roman Catholic church were my only option, I would stay home. Even Protestant churches are following the cult-like teachings of the Roman Catholic church with their attempts to coerce sinners into being saved along with works that must be done.
Cliff Leckey wrote: If Justin professes to be what the Bible means to be a follower of Christ he needs to give heed to Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

So you are telling us one must be a church member in order to be a Christian, in other words, a work is necessary for salvation? Can you give us biblical proof for this belief? What does being born again mean n.y.p?
Why is it necessary to make a distinguishing point in many of your comments concerning protestant vs. catholic? If you were born again, you would understand the difference
It is very evident your intention is to cause strife and division here, shame on you. You need to take your Catholic propaganda and keep to the sites that best afford this false belief. How sad for you that you cling to a dead religion and will perish, may God be merciful and truly save you by His grace, His supernatural power.
According to Mr. Bieber and Protestants on SA, church attendance is optional. You can be a Christian without joining or even visiting a church they say.
But, if all Protestants followed this advice, what would be left of the Reformation?
