Jewish Christian preacher Zola Levitt died today after battling cancer, according to his ministry website.
Levitt, known for the tagline, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem," had a television program seen on several Christian networks, "Zola Levitt Presents."

I am not going to leave the Roman Catholic Church ever because I was raised Roman Catholic and I am more comfortable with the Mass then Protestant services.
Jim, with rom 11 we should read also; "who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets and have persecuted us and they pleased not God and are contrary to all men forbidding us to speak to the gentiles that they might be saved to fill up their sins alway for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost" (1 thess 2:15-16) may God gives confort to the family of Zola Levitt
John Yurich, why don't you find a church similar to that of Zola Levitt? I think you'd be quite comfortable and edified. I just find it more edifying spiritually to be in a church which is more in tune to how I believe. That's why I intend to remove my name from the register of the Roman Catholic Church.
Johnny Y., I will agree with you, but you didn't put it strongly enough. Zola Levitt filled a unique niche in evangelism. He brought the message to Jews and Moslems. One can look at one of these programs, actually many, on http://www.levitt.tv
The site has not been consistently up the last day or two. This is understandable. When I had cable, I looked that the Zola program on TV all the time. Quite often I caught the programs on the above website.
Anyway, John, I'm glad you appreciated Zola, even if he was critical of sacramental churches, such as the Catholic one that is anti-Jewish. Of course, being anti-Jewish is being anti-Christian. Some Christians forget that Christ was Jewish and was the Jewish Messiah.
