Rome conclave: Cardinals fail to elect pope in first vote

Cardinals of the Catholic Church have failed to elect a new pope on their first day in the Vatican conclave.

Black smoke rising from a chimney above the Sistine Chapel indicated that their ballot had been inconclusive.

The 115 cardinal-electors will vote four times daily until two-thirds can agree on a single candidate.

Some on this thread and another that I posted on seemed to be quite infatuated with the Antichrist false religion.
Maybe they have been sent strong delusion
that they should believe the lie.
The fact that they remain blind to the truth points in that direction.

It is like a man with a fatal illness finding himself in a hospital which could treat him, yet he refuses the very treatment which could cure him.

Thank you for the link

My favorite quote was

"Instead, we want to help Christians everywhere comprehend that a healthy and gospel-proclaiming Catholic body greatly benefits all churches‚ÄĒand the cause of Christ."

It is indeed in ALL Christians best interest that the RCC continue to reform and move away from the plagues of the past. Some apostates would rather the RCC increase their mistakes so they can glory in the gossip, but I would say that number is shrinking

"A Pope for All Christians: Why believers of all stripes should care about the new head of the Catholic Church."

"Brian Stiller,a global ambassador for the World Evangelical Alliance, commenting about Catholic and evangelical relations, wrote on his blog recently, "Not in 500 years have the two sides been so close and friendly."

"Getting Protestants as such to ramp up mission is not that easy, since there are so many, often bickering, voices in the mix of Protestantism. Whether we Protestants like to admit it or not, though, there is a single person in Rome who can influence Christian of every stripe to work more heartily in the cause of Christ, sometimes together (even with Catholics) and sometimes faithfully in their own theological tradition. That's why even non-Catholics are praying fervently for the new pope. Given the monumental challenges of the 21st century, it is more important than ever that Protestants and Catholics figure out how to work together.

"That's why even non-Catholics are praying fervently for the new pope."

Quite so, it's how I feel about the American elections.

I wonder if the black or white smoke is anything to do with racism, coz the black smoke is negative and the white positive. Maybe they should change it to blue and green.

I wonder if the Catholic faithful standing in the rain in St Peter's Square have been told that the black or white smoke emanating from the sistine chapel chimney is not another miracle performed by the magic-show priests, but a chemical added to the ballot papers when they set fire to them.

What I mean is that if I know that the Roman Catholic church is anti-God, anti-Christ, anti-bible, and fully anti-Christian, based solely upon the contents of the Bible, then how is it that so many who know waaaayy more than I do, consider the most diabolical church in the history of mankind to be our friends; our brothers amd sisters in the fight against Satan?

I don't know much about Mr. Warren other than he wrote a book that doesn't seem to be popular with some. I look into it after this.
Anyway, whenever I hear sympathetic statements like this coming from someone I thought was a born again Christian, I change my view on their relationship with Him.
I find it so very interesting that so many men of God, so many intelligent men who know their Bibles just as well or better than most, throw their support and allegiance to the Roman Catholic church, calling them our brothers and sisters in Christ.

What Rick Warren said....

Really?
Maybe you should fast and pray that the Lord God Almighty would tear that satanic system apart and bring them to repentance!
