Dems to Christians: 'Get thee to a nunnery'

Democrat members of the Colorado Senate have told Christians thereâ€™s no place in society for them, warning them to â€œget thee to a nunneryâ€ for their biblically based beliefs that homosexuality is a sin.

â€œWhat to say to those who claim that religion requires them to discriminate? I tell you what Iâ€™d say: â€˜Get thee to a nunnery, and live there then. Go live a monastic life, away from modern society, away from people you canâ€™t see as equals to yourself,â€™â€ said homosexual state Sen. Pat Steadman of Denver.
