Pope Benedict XVI in shock resignation

Pope Benedict XVI is to resign at the end of this month after nearly eight years as the head of the Catholic Church, saying he is too old to continue at the age of 85.

The unexpected development - the first papal resignation in nearly 600 years - surprised governments, Vatican-watchers and even his closest aides.

The then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger became Pope after John Paul II's death.

The Vatican says it expects a new Pope to be elected before Easter.

Agree, totally not cool

TULIP is an Anagram designating 5 major points of one school of the reformation codified at the Synod of Dort, often called 'calvinism.' The TULIP - anti Tulip debate is as broad and divisive as any in Christiandom, and when Reformed Christians arent calling Catholics damned, they often call opponents in this debate damned.

They stand for

T- Total Depravity
U- Unconditional election
L- Limited Atonement
I- Irresistible Grace
P- Perseverance of the Saints

While I consider TULIP an accurate depiction of Biblical Christianity, in no way do I consider Protestants or Catholics that disagree damned if they accept the more popular doctrines of salvation

You are correct in what you said.
I was saved out of that wicked satanic system. And pray continually for my family and all the deceived and deluded RC people.
May GOD grant them eyes and ears to see and hear the glorious gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Sorry to butt in and I'm not looking to argue, but Rome has Indeed elevated and diefied Mary. By Romes own words, Jesus has to do what Mary tells Him to and waits for her beckoned call. Rome calls Mary the co-redemtrix because she wept while her son was being crucified, co-redeeming mankind. Rome calls her the mediatrix, attributing qualities to her that are reserved for God alone; omniscience, omnipresence, etc, etc. Pope John, the Marian Pope, set her on a pedestal above Christ, the fact that Mary is prayed to is to consider her a goddess. This is no different than a pagan praying to a false god. I've studied the catechism, the Florence, Trent, and Vatican councils, the Papal decrees, dogmas, and am well versed with Romes doctrines. Ug, I could go on for pages but the space doesn't permit. So frustrating.

True Jesuit tactics. You've learned well from your masters!

Since you love the Bishop of Rome so well is it not time to openly bow the knee to the 'Vicar of Christ' and stop the pretense that you are anything but an RCC troll?

You missed the point alright, if you think what I posted was a complaint. But so's you can maintain your humility, I was totally opposed to the creation of Homeland "Security." I don't care where the destructors of liberty come from, they are to be opposed, don't you agree? Whether Bush's HS, or Obama's Obamacare and support of corruption, all powergrabs should be opposed.

By "co-mediatrix" maryolatry the Roman Catholic false witness is stealing from God and Christ Crucified.

The implication of this idolatry is to suggest Christ - the Crucified Christ - is not crucial to salvation.

The implication of this idolatry is to assert that mary (the Roman reinvention of mary)(idolatry) has the same authority as Christ. This seeks to diminish the authority of Jesus to human equivalence, thus is an attack upon HIS deity. Plain old Blasphemy again by Vatican and Roman Catholic false and pagan religious practice.

The RCC religious philosopy is
Completely unBiblical.
And is NOT recorded in the Gospel.
Thus the Bible and the Gospel, the very Word of God, is compromised by this insidious satanic Roman Catholic false witness.

May its supporters see the light one day and become REAL Biblical Christians.

"2Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction."

Rather a short commentary on Hail Mary? (PDF) one of the favorite prayers of the Romish Church.
A longer commentary would be The Biblical, Catholic, and Occult View of Mary (PDF).
Anyway, the first one is shorter and written by a person who has made a Pilgrimage From Rome.

One Mary should never have been mentioned --as an ancillary god(dess) and two, again look at the MacArthur comments.
In the Romish Church,Jesus is always the baby, and Mary the big moma. Jesus is always hanging on a cross and never resurrected with Romish Crucifixes ( Are We Really Catholic Bashing? (PDF) )

Dear Brothers, I thank you most sincerely for all the love and work with which you have supported me in my ministry and I ask pardon for all my defects. And now, let us entrust the Holy Church to the care of Our Supreme Pastor, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and implore his holy Mother Mary, so that she may assist the Cardinal Fathers with her maternal solicitude, in electing a new Supreme Pontiff. With regard to myself, I wish to also devotedly serve the Holy Church of God in the future through a life dedicated to prayer.

Your right of course Poppy, that was an oversight on my part, it`s just that i`am sick listening to the UK media lauding old red socks as the great Christian leader & will be hard to replace.....in fact irreplaceable. Of course in a democracy they are entitled to that opinion but it sure ain't mine.

Mr. Hraneks radio piece was spot on.
Also listened to Mr. Hammacks and was
grieved and angered to hear him advise his radio audience to read this false teachers (aka pope Benedict's) books.
NO! NO! NO!
How far the church as a whole has fallen.

But, Let's Not Totally Discredit Not a St-Ignatius Loyolan Wolf's Interpretation Of The MARK Of The BEAST.

For A Careful & Detailed Reading Of Revelation 13 Shows That It's The "Earth-Beast" Of v.11 That "causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first ('Sea-Beast'), whose deadly wound was healed [v.12]".

It's Also This "Earth-Beast" Of v.11 Who:

A."had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

B."causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive A MARK In Their RIGHT HAND, Or In Their FOREHEADS:"

a."And That No Man Might Buy Or Sell, Save He That Had
[1]THE MARK, Or
[2]THE NAME Of THE BEAST, Or
[3]THE NUMBER Of HIS NAME."

Thus, We See The SEAL For The DOOM OF ETERNAL DAMNATION, IN THE LAKE OF FIRE, Is To HAVE IN ONE'S RIGHT-HAND Or IN ONE'S FOREHEAD:

#1.THE MARK (www ?)
#2.THE NAME OF THE BEAST (VICARIUS FILLI DEI ?)
#3.THE NUMBER OF HIS (THE SEA &OR EARTH BEAST'S) NAME;

666:

WWW, www Or Whatever MARK Corresponds With THE BEAST'S NAME &Or NUMBER OF HIS NAME.
