Drug-induced Murder: What Caused the Connecticut School Shootings?
The Internet is rife with details about the firearms Adam Lanza used to kill 20 children and 6 adults before turning a handgun on himself at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, on December 14. But information about Lanza's medical history is scarce, breeding speculation that he may fit the profile of school shooters under the influence of psychotherapeutic medication.

"In virtually every mass school shooting during the past 15 years, the shooter has been on or in withdrawal from psychiatric drugs," writes Lawrence Hunter of the Social Security Institute. "Yet, federal and state governments continue to ignore the connection between psychiatric drugs and murderous violence, preferring instead to exploit these tragedies in an oppressive and unconstitutional power grab to snatch guns away from innocent, law-abiding people." ...

Romans 1:18-32 says it all. And this is the platform the democrats and much of the U.S.A. runs on. God is giving them over. Pray for this nation anyone you know so they nay not fall into this platform.

This is the hardest part to explain to a non-Christian. Why does God let things like that happen.
Why does God let bad things happen to bad people? All people are bad by the way. The secular world does not accept

If Adam Lanza was guilty of these crimes and if he was high on psycho-tropic meds then certainly the meds can be cited as a factor the same way alcohol or illicit drugs would be a factor. If guilty, Mr. Lanza should still be held accountable for placing himself under the influence of the pharmaceuticals the same way a drunkard should be held accountable for putting drink to his lips and committing like criminality.

At this point, I'm sure there are many blessings that could be identified throughout this tragedy yet there are certainly many more blessings that we may never know because our vision is limited and we are blinded by our stiff necks

The media has to blame something and its not PC to say that Adam Lanza shot those children out of the evil in his own heart. Guns, drugs, video games and movies all of those things have great potential to be used for good or evil and all or some were possibly supporting elements of Lanza's vile deed yet none were the cause. That purpose is found in the heart of all men. Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

The real question we should be asking ourselves is " How is God glorified in this situation? "
I don't believe for one second That God will be mocked by mans wickedness. Oh, we may try but He will prevail and God will be glorified. Of course God has the power to restrain acts of evil yet He does not. Evil still happens and we puny humans shake our fists in ignorance and anger.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
If the chief end of man is to glorify God and he cares Enough for His people that he works ALL THINGS together for our good then, somehow this tragedy is for the good of the elect but most of all is that somehow God is glorified, even in this.
At this point I'm sure there are manny blessings that co
