Pastor Rick Warren Hospitalized, Awaiting Diagnosis

Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church was hospitalized Tuesday after experiencing pain in his arms.

The renowned Southern California pastor will be undergoing a series of tests to determine what the cause is though the doctor's "diagnostic guess" is that he has an inner ear virus that may have spread to the nerves in his neck and down his arms.

"[P]ray for a quick and accurate diagnosis, a fast remedy," he asked his megachurch in an email Tuesday late afternoon.

Can you show using scripture where your right to freedom of religion is? Can you show using scripture where the American idea of free speech is?
Can you by using scripture give me the biblical definition of free speech?

Do you have free speech within your church community, or on Sunday morning? That is, no restrictions to speech of any of your members?

Why do you ask me what the cure is?

So the unregenerate do not recognise their sins, or at least the consequence of their sins. And the regenerate do not recognise the full depths of their sins and failings.

And the cure?

Phoebe -- I happen to like freedom of religion. State church and 501 would be in opposition to this ideal, wouldn't it?

I like that I have neighbors of different faiths around me, and that I can share the gospel with them as the Lord leads.

This gives me great joy.

What I don't like is tyrants arresting my neighbors for their religion, or expecting people to go against their conscience (unless their religion causes harm to another)

I also do not prefer being arrested myself for being a believer, but either way, in the end I am free in Christ.

But as a believer, what is of greater concern is when Christ's cloak is worn by men to force others to baptize, etc under coercion. Or, in today's situation, forcing nations to go into unholy wores that destroy civilations under the excuse that if we do not, God will not bless us.....and that if wores are fomented, then we will be raptured. This is usery and abuse of Christ's name.

I happen to like freedom of speech.

I think it models the book of Acts.

Paul spoke freely, if it lead to prison or not. He was bold in rightousness. It was assumed then that Christians would be a shining light community among other beliefs and ideas.

What alternative would you propose?

Phoebe, just to make it clear, are you sure you have written what you intended?

Matt. 22:36-38
"Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment."

Where in the great commandment is the command to "...HATE those amongst you who fail to LOVE the LORD your God with all their heart"? In fact there is no call to hate in the great commandment at all, for it applies only to the relationship of man to God. Nor can we rightly hate those "amongst you," meaning other believers.

1 John 3:10 "In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother."

Pardon if I'm reading you wrong.

Those who fail to love the Lord with all their heart and their neighbour as themselves, are you referring to Christians or mere professing, deluded Christians?

If Christians, are you saying we ought to hate our brethren?

If mere professing Christians (unregenerate), are you saying we ought to hate the lost?

Whichever, you want us to hate all men who do not perfectly obey God in all his commandments. I presume that includes you.

I am not able to do that, sorry.

Assuming you are right, what is the source of faith?
Faith come from belief, which is done everyday by believers and unbelievers.
What is the source of the life of your soul which was formerly dead in trespass and sin?
The Lord Jesus Christ

With first question I want to say this, faith, belief, and the word of God(word of satan not include) are not gifts because anyone can have them. Eternal Life is the -free(Rom 5:15-18)- "gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord". The only other mention of gift from God in the Bible(KJB) is the gift of our talents and using them.

I am puzzled as to just where you are coming from in your recent posts.

So you don't missunderstand me let me say this:

There is NO Salvation whatsoever in any false Jesus, in any false Gospel. NONE

The Holy Spirit tells the believer clearly through Jude to: "Earnestly contend for The Faith that was once for all delivered to the saints."

The Lord Jesus Christ makes it clear in the Sermon on the Mount that He will in NO WAY welcome 'pretend Christians' who have given Him empty lip service for there is a gate that is stright and a way that is narrow that leads to life and few are they who find it. And in my own words for clarity walk it to His pleasure and glory on their exceeding joy and great reward.

These things are intimately interelated with Loving the Lord our God with all our heart and loving our neighbor as ourselves.

And a serious humble look at the Great Commission and what the Spirit moved Paul to write in Romans 10 confirms this BECAUSE:

Romans 10:6-17

vs false teachers

Isaiah 9:16

I think it is Leonard Ravenhill who has said, "We do not realize how precious to God a true expression of the church is."
I can well believe that LR spoke those words. And I also believe that if the entire Christian community were to listen to that brother and hearken to his sermons, it would perhaps sober up and take things far more seriously than it does in these last days.

And in today's politically correct inclusive deception away from Biblical Christianity it grieves and breaks my heart to see so many fail to realize the blasphemy and sin against Christ in joining in unity with false Christians such as Roman Catholics and Mormons, a thing that is destroying churches and attenders who play church with the devil in disquise.
