Jack Schaap of First Baptist Hammond Facing 10 Years in Prison for Teen Affair
Jack Schaap, former pastor of First Baptist Church of Hammond in Indiana, has signed a plea agreement in the U.S. District Court in Hammond admitting his relationship with a young woman when she was just 16. Schaap was charged with inappropriate behavior and taking a minor across state lines for the purpose of sex, and may be facing up to 10 years in prison.

"I have agreed, as set forth in a separate filing with the Court, to wave my right to Indictment by a federal Grand Jury with respect to the charge of transporting a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and to plead guilty to that charge," reads Schaap's plea agreement in court documents obtained by The Christian Post.

The court document also states that the expected sentence for such a crime could be up to 120 months, or 10 years incarceration. ...

Without actually saying it, Schaap just admitted to repeatedly raping this child in his flock. What does the Bible require for those who hurt little ones?

Jim,

Again, where exactly do we go to find that Bible in the original 'Greek, Hebrew and Arminian'?

Come on, Jim. Answer me.

Gasp! a defender of the Latin Vulgate! I wouldn't've believed it!

Ah, well, remember,

1 Corinthians 14
8 For if the bugle produces an indistinct sound, who will prepare himself for battle?
9 So also you, unless you utter by the tongue speech that is clear, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air.
11 If then I do not know the meaning of the language, I shall be to the one who speaks a barbarian, and the one who (g) speaks will be a barbarian to me.---NASB

This means you have to give up Latin! Unless you're talking to a bunch of priests about the Good News!

What Jim forgot to post immediately prior to the above was quote, "I am never going to bring up the issue of versions again."

Thus it should have read ...
"I am never going to bring up the issue of versions again.
Well! that should make everybody happy"

YeaaaaaaaHHH

Oh and a correction to an earlier conclusion reads ...
"The latter has a lot to do about the preservation of John MacArthur"

Cheers Jim.

Ahem, to keep it short.
Rick Norris wrote:
For many years, especially in the 1500's and 1600's, Roman Catholics defended their translation of the Bible [the Latin Vulgate] as being inspired and perfect. What reasons or arguments did Roman Catholics use in defense of their Latin Vulgate-only view?
excerpt, from the very short piece, The Claims of the Latin Vulgate-only View. Some of you should read it to get some old ideas? The Biblical Position on The [Latin Vulgate ] Controversy. The latter has a lot to do about the preservation of Scripture by John MacArthur, something that doesn't take a simplistic answer. Well! that should make everybody happy!

Where exactly do we go to find that Bible in the original 'Greek, Hebrew and Arminian', Jim?

Don't post a link. Please tell me in YOUR own words. Where is it? Do you have a copy? Is it in a museum? In the vatican? Does Gil Rugh keep a copy in his office? Does Ankerberger have one at home? Where can I find it? You sound so sure of yourself. Surely you must know where on earth that original 'Greek, Hebrew and Arminian' text is. Share with us.

You are absolutely correct and accurate Jim.

Your NASB and the modern version is definitely produced and interpreted specifically for the Arminian cause.

You're right about that! I've been talking to too many Arminians around here, yes, the language is Aramaic. Thanks for pointing that out.

Ah, it just goes to show what happens when you don't read an understandable Bible, Restating The Obvious About Bible Translations. If Caplocks is who I think it is, he should know that 90% is to high of rate, he was a former Catholic.

But Mr. Schaap, has greatly sinned and it's a good thing that he will be given the jail time he needs, and while he had some good ideas, The Bible was preserved in Greek, Hebrew, and Arminian and not in the KJV! as he stated in his book, "Where Are We Going." But apparently for a Baptist he had some pentecostal failings Jack Schaap -- The apple did not fall from the far from the Hyles' sad legacy!.

For Christians living in the Chicago/Hammond area, they should be looking at the good idea of attending such churches as Christian Fellowship Church. I believe this church will avoid, Red Hot Preaching.

No I am not a liar since I did not state catagorically that I knew for certain the percentage of Catholic priests who are sexual perverts. I stated it was a guess. But I know for certain that it can't be 90% like you stated.

That is totally false that 90% of the Catholic priests are sexual perverts. It is if I were to take a guess would be about 20-30%.
