US ambassador to Libya, 3 American staff members killed in attack

The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other American staff members were killed Tuesday in an attack on the U.S. consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi, the White House confirmed. President Obama, in a written statement issued Wednesday morning, called the attack "outrageous" and "senseless."

Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens was killed Tuesday night when he and a group of embassy employees went to the consulate to try to evacuate staff. The protesters, angry over a film that ridiculed Islam's Prophet Muhammad, were firing gunshots and rocket-propelled grenades.

"I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens," President Obama said in a statement Wednesday morning. "Right now, the American people have the families of those we lost in our thoughts and prayers. They exemplified ...

Not good enough John. Terry Jones calls himself a Christian. He is not one.
He has caused the death of four people (this time) regardless of whether the weapon was in his hand or those he incited to kill.
Muslims like all reprobates have less control than Christians because they are in complete sin and iniquity.

Your comparison is insufficient. I do not expect you to sin BECAUSE you are a Christian and have grace plus the Holy Spirit within you to shield you from sin's dominion. Surely by now you can discern the great difference made between your presaved state under sin - to now.

Terry Jones AND the muslims who perpetrated this horrendous act do not share that privilege. SO people should THINK and act justly over this.

John UK, others have also noticed the problem, Barbarians at the Gates -- FrontPage Magazine.

President Obama's remarks weren't really that far off the mark, but I do think I can make an observation about Hillary's. She thinks like many liberals do, If you believe that people are basically good . . you're really wrong. As Mr. Praeger pointed out, no matter how much money you throw at the Egyptians (well except perhaps the Copts) it isn't going do a bit of good.

She and many others like her make me glad I'm an Independent. Oh, and of course freedom of speech, Muhammad’s critics and their deaths--Why the West must protect freedom of speech.

By the way, you won't get me to claim that Mr. Jones is a Christian, as the person who posted after astutely observed, Mr. Jones being one who pushes, Charismatic Chaos -- but he also the right to his say, even if he was an atheist as Mr. Hitchens was, and one who realized the dangers of Islam also.

John UK -- how many Lbyns are no longer with us... from the adventures?

its a bit surreal with numbers such as a million in Iq to give the impression that its just mus's.

we get angered by 3 and dismiss a million.

somethings not right with our brain upstairs.

Oh, I forgot, that the adventures are done in the name of Jesus Christ.

seems fit, for one group to disintegrate normal life in the name of Christ and then it to be returned in the name of Alh. such as it will be for the church unless she loves her Savior more than politics.

This is the very purifying act of God to separate those who truly follow Christ from those who are a "Christian" lobby.

and surely wst providing air cover to bring in al queda causing a stable nation to be unstable has nothing to do with it.

how do we know that those groups are not akin with the foreigners who came in when qad was brutally torn apart in the streets?

funny -- we seem to have a selective memory.

it takes two to tango.

were we not just reading a few months ago about famine and pestilence because people could not take care of their fields this year because of arab (meaning non-african) invaders? another article about Chrstn persecution as aftermath....

......yet, will one believer here even acknowledge any of this?

I remember a whole discussion about prophecies about locusts. its a purposeful denial from those who call themselves followers of the way and truth and life.
