VERSION HISTORY
10/23/10 - Version 1.9.1 allows for streaming video over 3G as well as WIFI. Also includes LIVE video webcasting support over 3G/WIFI.
9/2/10 - Version 1.9 fixed a minor bug involving video playback and external player support. Cosmetic fix to splash screen loading.
6/29/10 - Version 1.8 fixed a minor bug involving logging sermon downloads.
6/5/10 - Version 1.7 added the My Church feature that allows 1-click convenient access to your home church on SermonAudio. Simply type in your church's Member ID when prompted. This allows you to easily give instructions for your own church people or on your own church website on how to add their home church to this app.
5/11/10 - Version 1.6 is a rollup version of a number of minor bug fixes as well as a major new feature involving an audio player built-into the app allowing for fast and trouble-free loading. The player displays the album art associated with the broadcaster account. Optionally, you can use the context-menu in the app to select the external media player to play the sermon instead. Benefits of using the external player include the ability to scrub through the audio as well as use any bluetooth-enabled audio device.
4/20/10 - Version 1.0 is launched and is our first-ever BlackBerry native app. We hope you'll enjoy this new way to access SermonAudio!
I am sooo thankful for your ministry, but unfortunately I don't own a Blackberry. I was wondering if there is a plan to release an app for the Palm OS.
I just got a Blackberry 8530 yesterday. I installed the sermonaudio app, and it works right off the bat. However, when I plug my headphones in, the sound continues through the phone speaker instead of the headphones. I played a song that came with the blackberry, and it plays that just fine through the headphones. I'm still learning this system, so it may be something on the blackberry itself.
Hello, I downloaded this app and for a minute it worls perfect but then the sermon what stop and I would not have any data access on my phone until I reboot.. I have the storm 2 and dont understand what is goin on.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..
I must say I love this app! I like how I can search by passage, zip code, speaker, etc. I just have one issue; if I receive a phone call in the middle of a sermon the built-in player will not pick up where I left off after the phone conversation. I have to start the sermon all over again. I have tried using an external media player but I get the message "Browser is disabled by IT Policy." If I get this fixed will I be able to continue a sermon after a phone call on an external media player?

Since all WAP/WAP push settings on phone are on, I didn't have problems streaming video from other site, and I have unlimited data plan, tech support said it is an issue within the application and not a phone or phone plan issue. I REALLY want to be able to stream the video. Any suggestions?
Please email me at info@sermonaudio.com and we'll try to take this step by step. Thank you!

Re: previous post. I don't have wifi on my blackberry. I am downloading an alternative web browser and see if that helps. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
I have BB curve with OS 4.5.0.186 and unlimited data plan through my carrier. I have no problems listening to audio sermons. However, do I need a different browser or change the settings on the browser that was installed on my BB to view videos. When I try to view a video I get the message "Video not supported...No Wifi or WAP browser detected" Thank you for any help you can give me.
As per your e-mail, I downloaded the newly updated beta version and I am pleased to say that I opened it and it worked on the first try. It'll take some time to explore all the features, but at least for now I am excited about this app. Great job!!

I downloaded version 1.5 from the website with my phone. When I try to open the app I get this error "Error starting SermonAudio: Class 'net.rim.device.api.ui.decor.Background' not found." I'm not sure what that means, any ideas? Does version 1.5 require a more current OS than 4.3? Thanks again.
