Billy Graham still preaches the Gospel of inclusion
Billy Graham
MONTREAT, N.C. — Every morning the world’s most famous evangelist walks slowly and carefully up the narrow road twisting behind his log cabin. He sits on an iron bench, set in a clearing amid the pines where a tiny stream plunges down the ridge to form an icy pool far below.
Here, Billy Graham, 86 and every day more frail, prays, “Help me, Lord.” Here, he practices his voice, a habit of 40 years, “like an opera singer does the scales. Yes. Yes. Yes. No. No. No.”
He’s warming up for his 417th crusade — three nights of Christian testimony and music in New York, culminating in his inimitable call to come forward to God. The event in late June will be his first appearance in the city since he packed Central Park in 1991.
Today, as many fundamentalists and “traditionalists” refuse to share podiums with people who don’t share their vision of salvation, Graham opens his events to people of every...
Doesn't Graham preach about taking Christ as Savior? Every Crusade by Graham that I have seen on television has Graham preaching about taking Christ as Savior and inviting everyone to pray to Christ and ask Him to become their Savior. So are you stating that is false doctrine?
In my personal opinion, I think he's the greatest deceiver of men. Think about this: Is he being used by satan to decieve millions as a precursor to the anti-christ? He has the greatest following in the world today. How have so many accepted his false doctrine so openly? Is there satanic power behind his influence and power?
John, I could have made my answer much simpler to your question... "in order for someone to be saved they have to take Christ as Savior and join an Evangelical Protestant Church." You are almost exactly right. If a person is saved, does he say that he believes in Christ and still remain in a heathen temple -- such as the Catholic Church? Of course not!
The URL I gave you, for the Promise Keepers booklet, and you could substitute in many cases the words, "Catholic Church" for "Promise Keepers," throughout the booklet. This booklet has much to do with ecumenism, especially about ecumenism with non-Christians.

I shouldn't put this one up with the secular evangelical people message -- hmmm perhaps I still will.
Anyway, John, what with a Christian be doing in an anti-Christian church, such as a Catholic one?
John Y, understand that obedience is not the CAUSE of salvation; it is a RESULT of salvation. John 14:15 - "If ye love Me, keep My commandments." Sanctification, whereby a believer becomes more & more conformed to God's revealed will, is thus distinct from justification.
John, when you accept Christ, you leave or stay away from false religions. The apostles John and Paul wrote about Judaizers:
(AKJV) 2John 1 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. {wrought: or, gained, some copies read, ye have gained, but that ye, etc.} 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. 1Corinthians 5:9-12
Gil Rugh wrote a booklet, which attracted much attention on the Internet. It was about the Promise Keepers, but it covers groups such as Catholics which are specifically mentioned two-thirds into the booklet. It will give you more perspective about working with unbelievers who call themselves Christian:
Are you stating that there is more than one requirement for salvation? It seems like you are stating that in order for someone to be saved they have to take Christ as Savior and join an Evangelical Protestant Church.
Have always liked Billy Graham. But I strongly disagree with Catholic doctrine. Catholics are unable to comprehend what they read, and think for themself. Scripture is of no private interpretation. Meaning not everyone is right. Many demominations are in error. Have watched TV evangelists for 40 years. May I strongly suggest that a person who is inquiring of God, do their homework first, before they jump on a wagon. The inter-faith myth is gaining strong momentum. Money is the main snare. And acceptance of men. People refuse to let go of the things that God hates. Many if not all of the Christian books written today are not worth the paper they are written on. 99 percent truth maybe. But subtle errors can be lethal. Stick to the main book. God will help you learn.
Christian churches should avoid any aid to a Billy Graham Crusade. While like Balaam, Billy, has spoken the truth, himself, he helps the channel Catholics back into their false Church. He is a mixed bag, if there ever was one.
