Church of England: LGBT 'Not a Sin'

The General Synod of the Church of England has officially passed a motion welcoming and affirming transgender people to the church. A top bishop also declared that being LGBT is "not a sin."

"That this Synod, recognizing the need for transgender people to be welcomed and affirmed in their parish church, call on the House of Bishops to consider whether some nationally commended liturgical materials might be prepared to mark a person's gender transition," the motion that passed on Sunday reads.

As the official CofE website points out, the vote went overwhelmingly in favor of welcoming transgender people, with 30 for the motion and two opposed in the House of Bishops; 127 who backed the motion and 28 against it in the House of Clergy; and 127 for and 48 against in the House of Laity. ...

The 3-fold fountainheads for early Church’s teachings on sexual morality are BIBLE, natural law, & Tradition.
Sex within marriage, which has as its primary purpose the procreation &education of offspring, was the only licit use of the sexual function. All other sexual acts including onanism, fornication, adultery &prostitution were deemed ‚Äúillicit,‚ÄĚ that is, gravely sinful.
Acts of sodomy, especially pederasty, in addition to being ‚Äúillicit,‚ÄĚ carried a special onus as they were not only contrary to reason (as is all sin) but also, contrary to nature & therefore, acts against the Author of Nature, who is God.

Sodomy, in its broadest definition, all same-sex acts ,or in its narrowest (gross act unNamed)sense has always been condemned by the Church, with homosexual acts involving violence and/or the corruption of minors (pederasty) bringing harshest censure ..

condemnation based 1st& foremost as a sin against Goda sin of self-idolatry&self-corruption especially in the early Church &during the Middle Ages, practice of sodomy was commonly linked to pagan religious rites &temple prostitution &to heretical sects &teachings including Gnosticism &Kabalistic Judaism & Reformers & RCC & Anabaptists all condemned & accused each other of it.
They Glory in shame

John yurich, why do YOU reject instructions in .
1 cor. 5:9.
9I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

""affirming transgender people to the church. A top bishop also declared that being LGBT is "not a sin."""

Church of England IS NOT CHRISTIAN.
Church of England is not Bible Believing.

The evil human philosophy of satanic Liberalism is killing all authorities and is trying to kill church and Bible.

Thus we see the Church of England (and the Church of Scotland) are apostate, heretics and abomination.

May the Lord rebuke them and remove this satanic organisation from the nations.

2Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Why does the General Synod of the Church of England and other liberal churches reject what it states in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10? It states plainly that homosexuals shall not inherit the kingdom of God, which means that homosexuals go to Hell.

John UK from Wales writes:
"...Neither is there any such thing as bishops..."

So, a family with the last name, Bishop, aren't really Bishops?

Hope you're doing well, John.

There's no such thing as clergy and laity. Neither is there any such thing as bishops, if we go by the definition of the CoE. Nor is there any such thing as "ordaining" elders (KJV), which thing is remedied in the Darby Bible.

Apparently there's one booked at the Modern leadership of the Anglican Church doesn't read - - the Bible

1 Corinthians 6
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.---NASB

How tragic!! Archbishop Thomas Cranmer, Bishops Hooper, Ridley, Latimer, and Farrar, and a number of other Anglican clergy who gave their lives in the Marian Catholic persecution from 1553 to 1558, Bishop J C Ryle, the famous Reformed Anglican Bishop of Liverpool in the 19th century, who was preaching in that city, and before that as a country vicar in East Anglia, at the same time as C H Spurgeon was preaching in London, John Newton, 18th century vicar of Olney in Bedfordshire, converted ex-slaver ship captain and writer of "Amazing Grace", Charles Simeon, vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Cambridge, for some 40 or so years, at the turn of the late 1700's and very early 1800's, who influenced a whole generation of Cambridge University students for the Lord Jesus Christ and for missions, amongst many others would be horrified at this wicked vote.

The Church of England is now set to catch up with the Episcopal Church of the US and the Anglican Church of Canada in their wickedness!!
