Trump to give speech on Islam in Saudi Arabia
President Trump will deliver an “inspiring yet direct” speech on the need to confront radical ideologies during his upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia.

The speech will come during an afternoon lunch with leaders of more than 50 countries with mostly Muslim populations, White House national security adviser H.R. McMaster announced Tuesday (May 16).

In it, the president will share his hopes for a “peaceful vision of Islam to dominate across the world,” McMaster said. He also said the speech will demonstrate America’s commitment to what he called its “Muslim partners” and aim to “unite the broader Muslim world against common enemies of all civilization.” ...

Senior Pastor -  Steve Schoenwald

On the website 'We believe in the person and the deity of the Holy Spirit, that He came forth from God to ***convict the world of sin***, of righteousness, and of judgment ...'

That is a lot different (CONVICTED OF SIN) to being prompted to go forward at an altar call. Unless you know then of course you don't know.

John Yurich isn't your real name?, or we could check with this Pastor to understand what he teaches about ecumenism-those who cling to Popish falsehood. It would be interesting to hear what he has to say and how you fit into an Evangelical church that warns against Rome and false ecumenism? Impossible?

You made a comment on Pastor James Smith.

Did you know you can purchase his devotional (Morning and Evening) called The Daily Remembrancer? Truly Christ exalting and a spiritual delight.

The litmus test is whether or not a church's doctrine lines up accurately with the Bible. Nowhere does the bible state God the Spirit 'prompts'. Your fruit gives you away John Y. Your clinging to a dead religion, the RCC, and defending that is not the kind of fruit of a truly born again Christian. God's elect will flee Satan's kind of religion. You never mention sin, repentance, etc. You boast of your 'accepting Jesus'. I've heard it said, 'you know Jesus, but does He know you'?

You must be born again

If God re-births you and elects you unto life, you WILL flee to Christ.
The Spirit of God works within, opening the understanding of the sinner to his/her own vileness. The 'new birth' is a must for a sinner to understand their dire need of Christ and forgiveness of sin. When a sinner is broken over their sins, then and only then will they cry out as the tax collector, 'be merciful to me, the sinner'.
What you are following is the doctrines of men, and they won't save you. The Baptists are just as guilty as the RCC in leading sinners in a works based plan to 'save'.
Where do you come up with this nonsense that the Baptist teaching on salvation is a works based plan of salvation? Look up the website of that Baptist Church(www.rolchastings.org) that I attend on Sunday mornings so you can find out that they preach the biblical doctrine of salvation.

They look for a profession and neglect the 'fruit'. It's all about numbers with them, then they boast how many 'got saved'.
Again, this is a works-based salvation, basing it on your profession and NOT the work of the triune God. How sad that multitudes are duped into thinking themselves saved based on something they said/done.
It was the work of the triune God in November 1997 that I obeyed the prompting of the Holy Spirit to give my life to Christ. Baptism via immersion is a public profession of faith that one has turned over their life to Christ. That is basic Baptist teaching, which is the biblical doctrine of salvation.

Yesterday I was Baptized via immersion(in the indoor pool at a nearby hotel) after worship at that Baptist Church I attend on Sunday mornings. Before I was Baptized by Pastor Steve of that Baptist Church I was asked a couple of questions. 1)Did I accept Jesus as my Savior and Lord? 2)Is it my desire to be Baptized via immersion as a public profession of faith that I accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord? I will receive a certificate of Baptism from that Baptist Church.

Thanks US. I've decided not to go in circles any longer after years of doing so, but the "isn't that good enough" logic is concerning.
Too many become complacent, and instead of trying their very best, with continued personal and spiritual growth throughout a lifetime, they cut the corners which suit them, saying, "Well, I did this, and I did that, so that'll cover anything else I decided wasn't necessary".

All I see in your "testimony" is what works you do. You attend a Baptist church, you attend Mass (btw, how does line up with the admonition from Scripture, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure?)you walked an aisle. John Y, salvation is of the Lord, it involves getting a new nature from Heaven above. One that is implanted by God into the quickened soul of the undeserving sinner. It is the work of the Triune God whereby we are translated FROM the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His precious Son. We are given His Spirit calling out Abba Father and a desire to please Him in all that we do. According to Titus 2 it teaches us to deny ungodliness (like the RCC) and worldly lusts and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this world, because He redeemed us FROM all iniquity (like the RCC Mass)and as we look for His glorious appearing we are zealous, not devoid, of good works wrought by God in our lives for His glory It is not a testimony of what I have done but what God has done. You're zealous for the RCC to defend it as a "true" Christian faith.

John, may God bless you and make His light and love to shine upon you. May His infinite grace and long suffering, give you clear understanding on those things which you currently view through a glass dimly. May He see fit, in His good time, and pleasure, to broaden your spiritual sight and bestow upon you the gifts of wisdom and discernment. May God give you the ability to see clearly, and to separate, according to His perfect, eternal Word, those things which you learned at first, or were instructed in as being truth, from Gods clear truth, our only truth.
Anything which proceeds from the mouths of men, John, is only as good as the truth of God's Word which confirms those things. Anything which doesn't agree should be discarded and replaced with God's instruction and revelation. Men are prone to error, whether innocently or by malice, and none should ever be lifted to such lofty positions whereby it is said they are without error, simply because they may be amongst God's elect.

John yurich, G'day mate.
I just wanted to assure you that when I mentioned I'd tried to contact pastor Steve via email and Baptist Church, I didn't have intent on talking about us, sa, or name anyone, I just wanted to know their thoughts, but like I said I didn't get a reply.
Anyway, just wanted you to know that.
God bless

I was just asking a simple question, John, because I was curious to know if you are trying to cover the bases for eternal assurance.
The reason I ask is because you are so careful to hide who you really are and how your loyalty lies between a religious system that teaches doctrines spawned from the pit of hell itself, and a Baptist church. You know more than you claim to and know how wrong your loyalty within the church of Rome lies by the simple deduction of your refusing to tell a priest or a pastor about your other activities for fear of what they'll have to say about it all.
The only reason I have not made the priest cognizant of my beliefs is that my beliefs are none of his business. And I have not told Pastor Steve of that Baptist Church that I attend on Sunday mornings that I also attend the local Catholic parish on Saturday is because I was never asked if I attend any other church. There is a woman who attends that Baptist Church but not on Sunday morning but on the Saturday night service and then she attends the Lutheran Church on Sunday morning. There is a man and wife who are members of that Baptist Church but they also are members of the local Catholic parish.

John, I'd like to ask you a serious question that's been on my mind. Hypothetically, say you were excommunicated from the church of Rome tomorrow. You could never refer to yourself as being Roman Catholic again, could never set foot inside of any Roman Catholic church again, and you were officially excommunicated by Rome.
My question is this: Would you have any little bit of fear...any at all, that your salvation would be in some sort of jepoardy?
The reason I'm asking is because the church teaches that without them, there is no salvation outside of the church. I'm wondering if this was ingrained within you as a child and a fear of yours, no matter how small.
I can't process why you would remain within such a system, knowing what you know, so was curious about this angle of your logic.
No of course I would not have any little bit of fear at all that my salvation would be in some sort of jeopardy. And I was not taught as a child that there is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church. Isn't is good enough that I attend a Baptist Church on Sunday mornings without ceasing to attend the Catholic Church on Saturday afternoons?

There is no good day of the week to go to Mass, since all Masses are black Masses http://tinyurl.com/ld47k5p (Various Messages on the Mass. All excellent and most by ex-Catholics who are now Christians.

John, it looks like you already got some pretty good responses. But once you become a Christian you do not keep on attending the pagan temple known as the Catholic Church. You make a http://tinyurl.com/ht63zl9 (Pilgrimage From Rome).

John Yurich isn't converted as he would be reading Luther's Bondage of the will and glorifying God for His Free Grace in Christ Jesus and deliverance from Popish falsehood, rather than glorying in himself and RC doctrine. Come on JY, read that book and tell us why the RC false system is a religion that leads to bondage, and ultimately the Lake of Fire.

Keep repeating your hope that some poor deluded sinner will heed your repetitive calls to false ecumenism, unbiblical altar calls and ultimately that fatal kiss with Catholicism and the RC jesus,...

BUT it is obvious to true blood bought believers that you are a deceiver pedalling falsehood and ultimately you will be in the Lake of Fire, except you repent and turn, or you will burn.
