Cannabis-related hospital admissions reach all-time high

Cannabis is “not the harmless substance some would have us believe”, the Scottish Conservative’s shadow justice secretary has said, after figures revealed an all-time high in hospital admissions related to the drug.

Last year, Scottish police officers were given new powers to issue ‘Recorded Police Warnings’ to people who are caught with cannabis.

Douglas Ross has slammed the ‘Warnings’ for giving the wrong signal to drug users and described cannabis as a “gateway drug to even more harmful substances”. ...

I will add this as well, go to the families, whose husband was burned alive, whose son was shot dead, whose daughter was raped, publicly shamed, and then put to death, and preach your message to them.

You apparently have a low view of pastor's and their ministry, it is the most dangerous job on earth, and you have little appreciation, I got a call from a friend yesterday who was telling me, how hard it is to be in the ministry, that, if it was his choice, he would choose someone different because it is hard, yet he desires the will of God, more than the pleasures of Egypt, and ease.

I think your posts are sin unto the believers for portraying us as inferior to you and your customs, I will pray for you, I have multiple friends in the ministry who have not compromised, one pastor friend of mine has sermons that are about 1h long, expository, he is faithful though he and his family are the only ones that go out inviting folks to church, one door at a time.

I just can't fathom why you blast them and my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, and make His church contemptible.

I agree with US, he hit the nail right on the head, my church doesn't do Super bowl Sundays, never heard of that nonsense, in potlucks there's no weed nor alcohol, we are a church that simply wants to glorify God, and every one of us are being sanctified.

The church is to holy and without blame (Eph.1:4), and preaching the gospel, among other things, I hope you pray for the issues you complain about, more fervently and oft than you complain about them, pastors and missionaries in Germany have struggled greatly with the issue of alcohol (whether to say it's right or no) it is a lot easier to compromise, yet there are some who hold their ground firm in the heat of battle.

My bible doctrines teacher told someone, (when they said that they would not give tithes and leave if he preach against a certain topic) he told them, "We don't need your money." There are pastors, missionaries, evangelist who are faithful unto death all over the world, how dare you make it seem as if the Messiah's church is totally corrupt.

They don't call pot "dope" for nothing.

Poverty studies show adolescents male cannabis use is at most not recoverable in the area of short term memory loss , early onset psychosis and lowering IQ and functional living skills. You keep smokin dope you remain stupid, just ask your folks, kids.

If used for medicine, maybe - but-
Been looking at effects of this stuff since the 60s-
The effect of THC on IQ is a diminution of 7 IQ points(average)

If u tested as 147 IQ( all that means is that U do well with silly puzzles ) your friends in the same right side of bell curve testing maynpush for pot use, as "it had not inhibited their lives. "They are types popularizing pot.
"Big deal 140 IQ- still a good engineering job potential"
But
If 100 is normal , and that type of hit occurs- u can wreck your life and become a burden to friends & family.

Science proves Cannabis is harmful in many ways

Research Showing Marijuana Use led to users called dope users.

2016 study: ALL 1,000 U.S. pot smokers studied in a Journal of Alzheimer's Disease paper had "low blood flow" throughout the brain and, tragically, restricted blood flow in the brain's memory/dementia region
2016 study: The UK's Daily Mail headlines their article on a paper in the journal Clinical Psychological Science, "The more cannabis you smoke, the more likely you are to be a loser"
2016 study: Research explains how pot mutates your DNA and why smoking it leads to disease including cancer,& etc

The genetically altered cannabis is grown to make people addicted and wanting more. The legislation of the cannabis train will derail when the cartels start beheading the hippies in Colorado for their cut in the business. Totally bummer dude.

Harmless? No, not hardly. For pure recreational use, I'm still just floored that states are slowly legalizing it purely for profit. People who have never smoked before, are smoking or using the oils, etc, and kids who didn't know where to get it before, can easily get it now. My related accidents and crimes are on the rise, and the dumbing down of the next generation, in addition to everything else going on, is being met with great success. My was just legalized in MA, and it's coming to Rhode Island shortly. Crazy.
I ate an MJ laced cookie one time and was sick as a dog for the rest of the day. Never tried it again. Stinks, too
