An organization that monitors Christian persecution around the world is warning that the risk for Christians in Pakistan is surging as the nation announces a resumption of executions in death penalty cases, which can be prompted by nothing more than an allegation of “blasphemy” against Muhammad.
In one case, a Christian woman was sentenced to death for allegedly insulting Muhammad after a dispute with Muslim co-workers over drinking out of the same water bowl.
The warning comes from Theodore Shoebat at Shoebat.com, a website founded by his father, Walid Shoebat, a former Muslim terrorist.
“While the majority of those sentenced to death deserve capital punishment (murderers, rapists, drug dealers, etc), there are Christians currently in prison, and there will be more Christians in prison, for blasphemy laws,” he wrote....
