Obama 'plays politics' with Christian persecution
Franks, who leads the International Religious Freedom Caucus in the House, was interviewed about the persecution of Christians by Shari Rendall, Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee director of House legislation.

Pointing out the extreme dangers Christians face worldwide, he said Obama administration officials “only respond when the politics become so antithetical to them that they have to.”

Franks cited the recent case of Meriam Ibrahim, who was sentenced to die for her Christian faith but later released. He also noted Saeed Abedini, the American pastor imprisoned in Iran; the Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria; the Muslim Brotherhood persecution of Christians in Egypt; and ISIS.

“The bottom line is if you don’t have religious freedom, there’s no hope for any other kind of freedom,” Franks told CWFA. “Religious freedom’s the cornerstone of all other freedoms.” ...

Mike, I don't remember about saying anything about Clinton, Bush, or Obama when they were in office. (Now and again I might've put up a Caroline Glick commentary ) I've certainly have had something to say about Reagan, Carter e.g., (See later thread!), Clinton, and Babyface It's Congress to clean up the mess of even their own party.

Something that might tie a President's hands. http://www.jpost.com/LandedPages/PrintArticle.aspx?id=372450 (The reach of Qatar's clout)

Jim Lincoln wrote:
Marty, it has to do with the fact when Baby-face Bush was President, and people who felt they had the right to complain about a rotten President refused to do so! Now that's what I'm pointing out.

If that's a complaint, then I must remind you that you have said it is wrong to complain about a sitting president. Or does that only apply to the present one?

Oh, something to make your day more fun a cartoon, http://www.jpost.com/LandedPages/IGallery.aspx?GalleryID=343&Index=0 (Cartoon on International Christian Organizations)

It matches some of the comments here.

Obama and the Democrats are anti-Christian that is obvious to those who can see.

But politicians in the western nations generally are anti-Bible. That is obvious here in the UK and Europe, the EU and the UN.

Discrimination is alive and kicking in the politics of western nations and the people being kicked are Christians.

The only ones which don't get kicked are Liberals.

Psalm 10:2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

2Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

I believe Jim, that the topic at hand is Obama, not Bush. Also what else would we expect from Obama's sycophants at CNN and NBC?
