LifeWay Stops Selling Mark Driscoll's Books at 180 Christian Stores
LifeWay Christian Resources, which bills itself as "one of the world's largest providers of Christian products and services," has pulled Mark Driscoll's books from its website and more than 180 stores nationwide.
The action comes one day after Matt Chandler's Acts 29 church planting network removed membership from Mars Hill churches and their popular pastor, who has authored 15 books and amassed a following of 13,000 weekly worshipers at 15 locations in five states.
"LifeWay Stores and Lifeway.com are not selling Mark Driscoll's books while we assess the situation regarding his ministry," Marty King, LifeWay's communications director, told CT. Earlier this month, LifeWay offered 42 products authored by or connected to Driscoll. Now, only five books that Driscoll contributed to remain....

Thank you so much SA for removing the hammack. Lower case intended. Any time I want his endless repetition and have the satanist bible read to me I will look him up. But don't anybody hold their breath please.
It is sad that Driscoll gets a 'pass' by so many because he speaks the 'right theology'. His actions speak louder than his words: this man is controlling, to the point of being abusive. He perverts the word of God when he preaches. You can do the research yourself, there's plenty out there if you look.
There's a reason why Christ warns of false teachers, we are surrounded by wolves who use the word of God for financial gain, or sensual purposes, or to control and have power over others. Most get a 'free pass' because of the shallowness of biblical understanding, or the misuse of texts like you quoted, pulling verses out of context and thinking we should let Driscoll slide. Has he personally sinned against you? Why do you say we must 'forgive' and let him continue on in his sinful ways, perverting God's word, controlling his Seattle-based church, demanding unbiblical practices with cover-ups, lies, and deceit? You demand we forgive him when his sins are NOT against us personally, but against our thrice-holy God and His word and those who attend his church. Spiritual abuse is alive and well, and men are getting by with it because of ignorance. Driscoll needs to step out of the pulpit and stop bringing shame and reproach upon the name of our precious Lord.
Matthew 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
