Fear of ‘Another Benghazi’ Drove White House to Airstrikes in Iraq
On Wednesday evening, moments after finishing a summit meeting with African leaders at the State Department, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff delivered a stark message to President Obama as they rode back to the White House in Mr. Obama’s limousine.

The Kurdish capital, Erbil, once an island of pro-American tranquillity, was in the path of rampaging Sunni militants, the chairman, Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, told the president. And to the west, the militants had trapped thousands of members of Iraqi minority groups on a barren mountaintop, with dwindling supplies, raising concerns about a potential genocide.

With American diplomats and business people in Erbil suddenly at risk, at the American Consulate and elsewhere, Mr. Obama began a series of intensive deliberations that resulted, only a day later, in his authorizing airstrikes on the militants, as well as humanitarian airdrops of food ...

But Jim surely as a four pointer you don't believe in “Solus Christus” (Christ Alone); and “Soli Deo Gloria” (To God Alone Be Glory).

So I for one am concerned About the Freedom of Religion this idea has to be promoted in what will probably turn out to be, Kurdistan. I hope all religious groups will be protected in that area! So, Pres. Obama is doing the right thing. It is also good to see, unlike Babyface Bush, he is also capable of learning from past experience.

About Israel, What do you do with a future National Israel in the Bible?

I don't understand why the American church is so quiet about Christian persecution but so loud about protecting and defending Israel when our True Brothers and Sisters in the Christian Faith are being persecuted for their faith? Anyone who dies for the name of Christ is faithful.

Correction, the Obama administration has failed to act decisively because our President is preoccupied with domestic problems and is saddled with an advisor who tells him to wait. Valerie Jarrett convinced Obama to not go after OBL on more the one occasion. He is wedded to a Rasputin and is too codependent to think otherwise.

I guess we are supposed to forget that part. Looks from casual observation that its been a network. Libya destruction, then move to Syria destruction, then move to Iraq destruction. Who's next?
