Uganda Court Declares Anti-Gay Law 'Null and Void'
A court in Uganda on Friday declared an anti-gay bill "null and void." Pastor Rick Warren of California's Saddleback Church and several human rights groups had condemned the bill as draconian. Supporters of the law blamed the ruling on pressure from U.S. President Barack Obama.

A panel of five judges at Uganda's Constitutional Court invalidated the bill on Friday, saying the parliamentary at the time of its passing lacked a quorum, according to The Associated Press.

The measure passed the parliament in December after a death penalty clause was dropped, but it criminalized the promotion of homosexuality and required citizens to denounce to the police anyone suspected of being gay. It was signed into law earlier this year. ...

Amen indeed WPM. The glorious gospel message of a glorious Saviour has to be presented, according to Jesus Christ, to every creature, exhorting them to believe and be saved. It is not our further responsibility but to plant the seed and water it, and to watch for growth and fruit if the Lord wills.

All who "labour and are heavy laden" are invited to come to Christ. And preachers need to make sure their hearers understand this.

John, did the visiting preacher remind all that world does not mean world, even if repeated 3 times in the same verse?
Thankfully Mike he did not feel it necessary to even comment on that aspect, but rather preached a Spirit-led exhortation which excepted no-one from believing and being saved. Indeed, he said his whole intention was that anyone there who had not yet received Christ as their Saviour and Lord, should do so and without delay.

He spoke of the jailor at Philippi, and also the promises of God in Romans 10.

There's no doubting it, that "whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved".

As for your tongue-in-cheek question ( ), when it comes to the simple gospel message, I see no point whatever in causing any doubt in a sinner's mind that Christ is willing and able to save him. Neither a good arminist nor a good grace Baptist should ever cause a sinner to despair, that they are "beyond the pale". This is the stagnant waters of the hyperman.

Rick Warren and the eugenicist Bill Gates have no rights on the African people and their nations.

Seems the globalists can't have indigenous man. Must force them under our corporate masters.

Rick Warren had no business coming into everyone else's churches either, and didn't seem to mind it. These are the types that come in uninvited and anyone who disagrees and tries to protect the fold are considered "resistors", which is quite the Orwellian term.

These types have no place in the church.

Just so people out there arent beguiled by false witnesses, let me say this as I know one of Warrens missionaries in Uganda. When this law was introduced, anti Christian forces accussed Warren of being its author. Warren then firmly denied being the author of the law, and even lobbied that homosexuality shouldnt be criminalized.
While I dont think secular societies can or should enforce a law that is written in the hearts of the ELECT, I do feel Warren went too far in fighting against this law. Warren is walking a fine line in Southern CA preaching the truth about the sin of homosexual behaviour, while not be demonized for doing as much.
If you think this is easy, you are wrong as another story on SA testifies. Most pastors just avoid the subject

Sounds like Adolph Obama and our government has been meddling again. Probably forcing Uganda to accept perversion or else. Rick Warren is a rare leading thousands to hell.

I was listening to an interview Rick Warren had a while back and his views are troubling. He spent time in his interview praising EWTN, mother Angelica, and the Pope. Among other things, he went on to say that if one believes in Christ, that he died for our sins, and rose, what's the problem? He was basically saying that if these are the core beliefs, it doesn't matter what the other differences are between religions or personal beliefs. Reminded of of Pope John Paul telling the worlds religious leaders that we all believe in the same god and a Heaven but just have different ways of getting there (paraphrased).
