Ebola-Stricken Doc Gives 'Experimental Serum' to Coworker
An American doctor being treated for Ebola in Liberia has ‚Äútaken a slight turn for the worse overnight,‚ÄĚ according to Samaritan‚Äôs Purse, an evangelical Christian Charity based in North Carolina.

An "experimental serum" to treat the virus arrived for the two infected Americans, but there was only enough for one person, according to Samaritan’s Purse.

Dr. Kent Brantly, who noticed his Ebola symptoms and quarantined himself last week, offered the dose to the other infected American, missionary Nancy Writebol. ...

Now, admittedly, the CDC has been very sloppy about keeping track of some of its viruses and such. But Emory University Hospital is not under the controlof the CDC. Now there is some cool stuff going on apparently, (my Google voice can really substitute phrases for mine. )

just off the top of my head I'm remembering many outbreaks in the past that have been traced directly back to biological testing laboratories. There was hoof and mouth in England, anthrax and lyme in US, I think the American people should know... was there ebola experimentation being done in sierra leone?

I read that also today, Jim. They are being treated by a team of doctors in Atlanta and they are both very much alive as of this morning. Must have been two other missionaries that had died fron Ebola. I also read that it was spreading faster than ever before and was now in three capitals of African countries.

I only see that the doctor has been transported to the United States. The woman will probably be coming in a day or two. The only have one airplane to transport these people since it is designed to carry highly contagious people to the facility like what is at Emory. http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/02/health/ebola-outbreak/index.html?hpt=hp_t1 (U.S. Ebola patient at Atlanta hospital).

Just read today that the doctor and the missionary are now at a military air base outside Atlanta and is being brought to a hospital in the city. Dr. Jay Varkey, an infectious disease specialist, is part of a team of doctors who will be treating them. Another news flash, Ebola moving faster than control efforts. Death toll so far 749. It is now sickening people in three African capitals for the first time in history.

Well, one thing is for certain, Dolores...we are closer than ever. I know that even Paul thought the time was near, but with so many prophesies being unveiled since, along with a better understanding of, and having the bible as a whole to reference and study, we see and have seen what couldn't have been imagined back then. So, knowing what we now know, seeing what we now see, and having the complete Word of God at our disposal, we can say for certain that the end of time is drawing near and even at hand.

Btw, I thought of the scripture where Jesus talks about the signs of the end time, one of them being, there will be pestilences Matt. 24:7 This Ebola virus could be said to be one,HIV another, antibotic resistent germs, new flu viruses popping up ever so often, flesh eating germ discovered in the oceans of Fla.and coasts of Alabama, Mississippi, Louisana etc. Seems to me from the weather patterns getting so severe and more and more signs of changes going on in the world, we very well may be in the beginnings of the tribulations now. I have believed that there will be a rapture before the anti-christ comes on the scene. I just need to stay ready because we do not know the day or the hour He will appear. All He really wants us to do is to stay ready and continue working as usual and being salt and light to a dark and lost world.

I believe they both died. I was checking my e-mails this morning and saw a news item on my windstream home page but didn't read the whole article. I admire those on here that search things out and give links for those of us that want to see other sides to an issue

The Fort Worth Texas center thought one was going to be sent their to one of their quarantine center. Hmm, Anyway, this is basically a a video report which starts up automatically, at least if you're on a desktop Some interesting information, anyway, http://abcnews.go.com/Health/americans-ebola-flown-back-us/story?id=24799794 (Two Americans With Ebola to Be Flown Back to US 'Early Next Week') if the wait that long, both will probably be dead -- not that they might not die anyway. There is some written information as well, so don't be put off by my comments about the video.
