Ohio State core class teaches Christians are dumber than atheists
An Ohio State University (OSU) class has apparently determined another fundamental difference between Christians and atheists: their IQ points.

An online quiz from the school’s Psychology 1100 class, provided to Campus Reform via tip, asked students to pick which scenario they found most likely given that “Theo has an IQ of 100 and Aine has an IQ of 125.”

The correct answer? “Aine is an atheist, while Theo is a Christian.”

No one is suggesting that the test is biased. Simply based on the fact that it is a psychological test negates its' veracity. While it is true that there are many professing Christians, as the Bible states that there are tares among the wheat...we can not as true Christians make the judgment that, as you say, they are vile...you can only judge actions and words... not the heart...get a Word.

Jessica, you know there is a lot to what you just said. and it makes sense that if we are aligned spiritually with the Creator, that our view of life will lead to knowledge and understanding, certainly prevents us with the waste of time that is indulging the flesh as a way of life!

Moses was trained in the knowledge and wisdom of the Egyptians — though the world still marvels at the wonders of ancient Egypt, Moses and the Children of Israel were delivered from the bondage of Egypt through God's Power and Might!

Acts 7:22

Many falsely believe that there is no knowledge with God, thus they believe there is no true knowledge with God's people:

"And they say, How doth God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?" ~ Psalm 73:11 ASV

Those who claim that true knowledge is apart from God pride themselves in false knowledge:

"Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And call not upon God?" ~ Psalm 53:4 ASV

"guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called 'knowledge.'" — the apostle Paul

They made their first mistake by using an online Psychology 1100 quiz...just further evidence to support the quackery of psycho-logy. Shame on anyone who took it seriously.

Thank you Mattias, excellent article! My heart praises God that someone is exposing the urban myth which claims that Atheists have more intelligence than Theists!

Through God's commandments, testimonies, and precepts we have great wisdom and understanding — Trust Him, obey Him, and believe in the love He has for you!

"You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep Your precepts."

~ Psalm 119:98-100 NKJV

The first thought I had when reading this article was that scripture you quoted, Jim L. Thanks for sharing. Another scripture I thought of was the one in Ps.14:1 The fool has said in his heart there is no God...So you can be a genius and still be a fool. My IQ is 120 and I am no fool. I see God every where, like David as he says all through the Psalms. How wonderfully we are made, the stars and nature itself speaks loud and clear, there is a God and His name is Jehovah and He has a son and His name is Jesus.
