Welfare Cash for Weed
At least 259 times in the first six months of legalized recreational marijuana in Colorado, beneficiaries used their electronic-benefit transfer (EBT) cards to access public assistance at weed retailers and dispensaries, withdrawing a total of $23,608.53 in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cash, NRO’s examination found.

On July 11, the Colorado State Board of Human Services passed an emergency rule, effective immediately, restricting the use of TANF funds at marijuana shops, bars, liquor stores, gambling establishments, and other potentially inappropriate venues.

The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), which oversees the TANF program, has begun to convene a task force on apparent misuse of cash benefits, joining with other state agencies to work out the details of enforcement, including how to monitor transactions, what constitutes wrongful usage, and whether withdrawals ...

Yes, Jim. It just makes you wonder how long it'll take before they figure out that smoking pot is (like cigarettes) harmful to your health and that second hand pot smoke is a health issue.

It's all that thin mountain air that makes Coloradans do crazy things, Synthetic marijuana sickens at least 221 Coloradans in a month, report says. Anything to thicken or is that sicken the air.

Trillions of dollars spent on welfare and we still have this ? why? could it be part of a plan ?

1. Destroy the family since it is the first means of support for most people.

2.Publically fund behavior that produces poverty.

3.Destroy the economy, send jobs overseas so that unemployment will increase.

4.Create an emotional matrix around the system that will immediately marginalize anyone who criticizes the system, label them as heartless, greedy,Cruel, racist etc etc.

6.Destroy,marginalize or better yet absorb religion to the point where the state is god and God doesn't matter.

Now waiting for evidence that the plan is in place and working.

you guys must have healthcare and pain meds when you need them ... so many of us are left to writhe in agony and beg for street drugs ... you really have no idea how much agony of physical pain poor people are made to endure because "you are poor and that's what you get for being poor"
the substandard healthcare is one thing, but when given medical assistance by the state we are in worse position, now there are doctors who specialize in the 100 dollar handshake, and that's the best diagnostician you will even meet, as they sign you up for useless test after useless test, sending you to use equipment and procedures that they can get more money for reimbursement from the government, but are of no use to you as you have one kind of illness and they need more money to pay for that cat scan machine ... or mammogram machine ... dentists who will drill and fill every tooth in your head even the healthy ones so they can make more money, leaving people in their 30's toothless because what tooth can stand to be ground and filled infinitely?
so you ppl will call them all addicts, and curse them for being on welfare, while welfare is rending their flesh and wonder why they went to beg for any relief and when you are in agony wont you spend every cent to stop it?
