Obamacare Takes Devastating Blow as Appeals Court Throws Out Key Provisions
U.S. federal judicial panel on Tuesday dealt a potentially devastating blow to President Barack Obama's health-care law, throwing out a provision that provides millions of Americans with subsidies for private health insurance.

The 2-1 decision, which could lead to a new showdown over Obamacare before the U.S. Supreme Court, would prevent the administration from offering premium tax credits to people who purchase insurance through the federal insurance marketplace that serves most of the 8 million consumers who signed up for private coverage for 2014.

The judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia stayed the ruling to allow for an appeal. The Obama administration said it would appeal to the full circuit court, a process that could take up to six months, and stressed the ruling would have no impact on consumers receiving monthly subsidies now. ...

Jim Lincoln wrote on the Bob Dole thread:

Farris, is a poor representative for homeschooling. he is dragging homeschooling into political argume[ nts that will just make it look bad. common core is accepted in more than two-thirds of the states, so attacking that is ignorant at best. an interesting article about people or I should say children with a great deal of religious education, The Possible Downside of Too Much Religious Training Anyway, Mr. Farris has been exposed to, too many fairy tales--from the John Birch Society.

Oh, so you're one of those people who love the idea of children being taught about deviant sex in the first grade! How wonderful! I'm sure you'd probably also like your first grader looking at porn cartoons at school! And what about those terrible founders like George Washington? I'm sure you'd love them to learn how these men were God haters, and evil caniving crooks too! Right? All of the above are taught in common core, so go right ahead and continue trashing people who actually have the guts to stand against it, if that's what you want your kids to learn.

More drivel, thoughtlessly repeated. Again.

Jim, why do you choose to give credit to a party you disdain for a program you love? Especially considering the program in place was only voted for by democrats, and all Republican amendments were blocked or rejected. One would think you would be elated to give credit to your party of choice. Please no links, just an answer from you. Thanks.

Jim Lincoln,

So you really like obamacare? The president lied to your face telling you that you could keep your doctor, while now many people are now losing their doctors because of obamacare! This guy lied to your face, and you say it's not that bad!

Greatest thing since sliced bread, ACA also known as the original GOPcare. Give healthcare a chance to evolve

Apparently some of you gentlemen haven't read Five reasons Americans already love ObamaCare — plus one reason why they’re gonna love it even more, soon and of course, If ObamaCare Is So Bad, How Does RomneyCare Survive? Hit "continue" to get to the article and skip Forbe's thought for the day.

Dear Strat,

You might find this verse to be a great encouragement as I did!

Jos 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
