Activist judges push 'gay marriage'
The movement sweeping across America to authorize same-sex ‚Äúmarriage‚ÄĚ largely has been pushed by individual judges who have signed onto the movement to overthrow the millennia-old idea that it is a man and a woman who make a married couple.

On Friday, two more rulings were handed down from the government-paid courts: a county judge in Florida who overturned the state constitution provision for his county, and a decision from a panel on the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, where judges already have stated their position, deciding that the Oklahoma Constitution statement that marriage is between a man and woman must be thrown out.

Both were put on hold while appeals are assembled. But the bottom line is that is appears the fight over whether marriage will be restricted to a man and a woman, or whether it will be restricted to a man and a woman, two men or two women is moving closer to ...

Uno... there is a way to remove Federal judges, http://www.yalelawjournal.org/article/how-to-remove-a-federal-judge But, may I point out http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=118121637304 (The Inadequacy of Moralism Legislating morality unless the majority of the electorate (and that a really big majority

I've been praying that God will cut them off. David prayed that God would smite his enemies. Psalm 54:5 and Psalm 143:12. A believer can ask God to do the same.

I've been forgiven in Christ Jesus my Lord. I don't understand your point. Romans 8:1. And there is nothing sinful about going through our legislators and ask that they have them removed from office.

John Y., as I pointed out any Catholic, liberal, conservative, and indifferent, (and especially ones who have been exposed to the truth as you yourself has) need to take this too heart, Is A Catholic Christian An Oxymoron? (Yes!).

According to this article with research done by a Catholic school there isn't all that much difference between Conservative and Liberal Catholics, http://www.religionnews.com/2013/10/04/poll-catholics-agree-church-focused-issues-support-gay-marriage/ (Poll: Catholics agree with Pope Francis that church is ‚Äėobsessed‚Äô with moral issues).

I would also add, John Y., it is a great honor to be excommunicated, you should try for that, with the following proviso,

1 Peter 2
20 For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.---NASB

Mike, prayer is always good, even when God gives us an answer we aren't --personally-- pleased with.

And just how do you think Christians should and ought to be calling for "these judges" to be removed from office?

Political protest?

How about humble broken contrite repentant prayer?

You know like doing some serious soul searching of one's own obedience (or not) to the God of the Bible, confession and forsaking one's own sinners first, begging God to forgive and cleans us first and because it is truly wicked evil sin against the Lord Jesus Christ seeking the Lord to remove/change judges (how about some beloved famous pastors too) who are in gross disobedience against His word

trembling if God gave us, and our churches, what we deserve that He would have destroyed us, cursed us and sent us into hell forever long ago, weaping at how long suffering He has been to the likes of even us who all to often post the things we do here on SermonAudio
