Stunning! CBS airs violently anti-Christian song

In the early hours of Thursday morning, “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featured a guest musical performance with vehemently anti-religious lyrics, including a line wishing the mother of Jesus “would’ve had an abortion.”

Kristeen Young was host Craig Ferguson’s guest, performing her song, “Pearl of a Girl,” which takes all three of the world’s major, monotheistic religions to task for allegedly repressing women.

“I never knew I was a girl until they stooped to tell me,” Young sang in the first verse of her song. “I never knew I was disturbed until they dropped three volumes on me. But in the Bible/Torah/Quran there are really no good roles for me except concubine and wash woman. I used to be the sad one, now I just wanna stab them.” ...

Strat writes:

There is an old fable about the Delta Blues singer and Guitar player Robert Johnson going down to the crossroads one night and cutting a deal with the devil for talent that would make him famous...it is a lie of course because all true talent comes from God.

However if it were true then most of today's "artist" need to go back to the crossroads and cut another deal because they realy got gypped on the talent part of it.

Right on brother!

Ignorance does breed contempt. I guess that she could be the poster girl for satanism which ,obviously, exudes love and respect towards the feminine gender. It's interesting that CBS allowed such an attack on islam...lol I guess that if a topic can generate enough revenue, it will readily trump propriety. ...just another step toward the new order/one world religion.

Satan's done a lot worse than getting some silly reprobate to sing for him.

Really? Stunning? Wake up church, we should be able to handle a feminist tantrum without blinking, such were some of us. The rug you have been caught snoozing on is being ripped out from underneath.

The CEO is Leslie Moonves, and he grew up in a Jewish family. I have no idea his spiritual beliefs, although this song makes one wonder if there is any distinction with Madonna's kabbal teachings which she gets from a rabbi.

the aim, in my opinion, is the Christian man. The man who loves and honors his family and makes society strong through his relationships and work ethic.

lets not forget that kabbalism goes back to Babylon and mixes male/female for god, so it would be good for us to add these cults to our list of religions to know about, since this is the spirit on the land.

Great comment, Rick. The Lord has certainly led me to separate myself from the entertainment industry, the pop culture, and much of the media. Jason Cooley and Joey Faust here on SA have some excellent sermons on these subjects, among other ministers. We tend to think we're stronger and more moral than we really are, but one simply cannot take this stuff in without being affected.

I just did a internet search and found out who the CEO is of CBS. I wanted to know what his religion is and why this would not be offensive to him.

“The skirt’s pattern, which I painted on, represents the symbols of three major religions … but I’ve defaced them. The cross and the half moon are upside down and I sewed little metal pieces on the star points of the Star of David to look like blades making it like a martial arts throwing star weapon.”
She also wears heels in the video shaped like upside-down crosses, a symbol commonly associated with Satanism."

Personally, I'm always surprised at things like this, common as they are these days. Surprised, shocked, etc, because I just can't grasp the utter defiance and lack of any fear, whatsoever, for the God they so casually assault and mock. I know it's because they just don't believe, but unbelief has progressed to a level never seen before as mankind becomes openly defiant as they elevate and diefy themselves.

I agree with Rick, this shouldnt surprise anyone being that its all over the air waves, particularly rock music. I remember a song I use to like back before I got saved, never really paid attention to the lyrics. One day I actually paid attention to what he was saying and he was mocking Christ because his mom was paralyzed and she still had faith. I think he was saying something along the lines of her "Christ" did that to her. The name of the song is Judith by A Perfect Circle for those who are curious to look up the lyrics. I dont recommend listening to it as it is quite vexing.
