IDF starts Gaza ground offensive

After days of waiting and deliberation, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Thursday night directed the IDF to send ground troops into Gaza to strike the terror tunnels into Israel.

A statement put out by the Prime Minister's Office said that Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon Netanyahu directed the IDF to prepare to expand the ground operation.

Jim, why don't you go ahead and repost your one state solution link so we all can see how offensive this plan really is and how many millions of people and nations would have to be displaced to make it happen, so we can get over the "victimization" mentality and call a spade a spade? so where do you think the Palestinian semites should run to with the Israeli and Egyptian border closed? Do you agree with the rabbi declaration that it is ok to shoot civilians?

Israel uncovers Hamas tunnel filled with maps, weapons, and IDF uniforms. It looks like there may be some videos to watch, besides.

Penny, I'm going to make you happy for once, and give you an Israeli source that you're going to like, http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/news/israel-earns-another-failing-score-on-freedom-of-religion-index-1.401257. I think it should rank at least a .5, however, since there is growth in other religions in Israel and there isn't any in Islamic countries. This article does show there's Freedom of the Press in Israel.

Penny, you really need to read A Short History Of Dispensationalism. Kowtowing to terrorists doesn't not win their hearts and minds, giving them a swift kick in the pants does gain their attention at the very least.

Oh, well a better rating for Israel comes from Freedom House, Freedom House Report on Religious Freedom.

Jim, and you think Christians have freedom of religion in Israel? Based on what? And why would it even matter to you, your battle is land land land. Mine is for the hearts of men and eternal life. You and I post here everyday serving a different kingdom.

Yes, I care about the nominal Christians in various parts of the world, Penny, and those of other faiths, Freedom of Religion should have always been an American goal in the Middle East. The only place, that it has been achieved has been Israel

Jim, both Palestinians and Israelis deal with corruption, racism, and religious bigotry. lawlessness promotes corruption, which is why Christian influence is so important, albeit regarding this topic, its virtually nonexistent. You suddenly care about the brethren suffering in Egypt?

penny, one here is more of Egyptian Muslims killing copts that helping them. the Palestinians don't even get fair reporting when their fellow Muslims are mistreating them. q.v., http://www.jpost.com/LandedPages/PrintArticle.aspx?id=368379 (Palestinian suffering used to demonize Israel)

Mike, you have that right.

Jim, no you would not hear when local Moslems were helping out Christians during recent attacks in Egypt, and this coming from the Christians themselves, because you are posting from Israel's website. I'm not doubting the story, but again, saying its one sided information.

I don't see any Muslims doing this either, 'Palestinians unlikely to use IDF field hospital' and IsraeliArmyFieldHospital ServingSyria. The people of the Phillipines and Haiti were grateful for this type of medical help.

How about every time they announce the death toll, the also let you how many rockets the Palestinians launched? Maybe they could even note that Hamas has turned gown and/or violated 3 cease fires to which Israel agreed . Not as many Israelie casualties but not from lack of trying by Hamas,

that's right, Strat, the west opened their borders to Muslems while trading out their legal system based on individual rights. that wasn't too smart.

Let Truth Prevail wrote:
When Christ speaks judgment against the temple, he is proclaiming the end of the Jewish system of worship. When Christ picks his 12 disciples (not 12 tribes), it is the beginning of ushering a new system with new rules, a new covenant, not a system of man, not of land, but spirit indwelt people who are chosen by God for salvation. The old has been done away with, the new has been ushered in. The people of Faith in Christ are the chosen people. You cannot confuse corporate national election with salvific election. This is where the cult of dispensationalism goes wrong.
Don't you mean God's system of worship.

Thanks for sharing the verses they are a blessing, what great things lie ahead for the redeemed.

When I stand before the throne,
Dressed in beauty not my own,
When I see Thee as Thou art,
Love Thee with unsinning heart,
Then Lord, shall I fully know—
Not till then—how much I owe.

When the praise of Heav’n I hear,
Loud as thunders to the ear,
Loud as many waters’ noise,
Sweet as harp’s melodious voice,
Then, Lord, shall I fully know—
Not till then—how much I owe.

I'm stuck half way through the first question. How did the Palestinians take land from the Jews? Can you find this in the bible? Have you read the history of that time?
Pennned not enough characters for clarification, sorry. My purpose is not to start an argument. So, lets throw out the first question as nonessential and not pertinent to the discussion, thanks.
