Pope Francis Expresses 'Deep Pain and Suffering' With Priest Sex Abuse Victims
Pope Francis expressed his "deep pain and suffering" with priest sex abuse victims in his first meeting of the kind on Monday, asking them for forgiveness and condemning what he called a "sacrilegious cult" of abusers.
"This is what causes me distress and pain at the fact that some priests and bishops, by sexually abusing minors, violated their innocence and their own priestly vocation. It is something more than despicable actions. It is like a sacrilegious cult, because these boys and girls had been entrusted to the priestly charism in order to be brought to God," the Roman Catholic Church leader declared....
UnBiblical idolatrous and blasphemous religious fakes such as the Roman catholic fallacy will always include the worldly transgressions as part of their image. After all Satan their father is not going to allow otherwise is he.
This video is still, around I believe, Secrets of the Vatican (video). (The video might be rated "M" because the topic it covers is the filthy Romish Church) It is. It makes a false assumption that His Unholiness Franny wants to carry out the necessary reforms to clean up, e.g., getting rid of Clerical Celibacy. I have no doubts whatsoever this wouldn't cure the problem, look at the anti-Christian Anglican Church or the Orthodox Church, q.v., What's So Wrong With The Eastern Orthodox Church? and having married priests still won't make it Christian.
The Catholic church has no one to blame but it's self for its miserable handling of the sexual abuse of children by priest, the large majority of it of it Homosexual in nature.
The foot dragging, the protection racket, the fact that every time a case is brought to trial the church has to be taken to court to get the records instead of volunteering to hand them over.
The money given by Catholics to the church that winds up being used to pay off the victims in law suits, and does anyone know how many of these child predator priest have actually gone to jail....no matter what one thinks of the church they couldn't have handled this any worse than they have.
