Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly is commander of the U.S. Southern Command, or SOUTHCOM, charged with responsibility for the Caribbean Sea and all lands south of Mexico.
Particularly in regards to the drug trade, murder rates and terrorist activity brewing in Central America, Kelly says, the waves of Latin Americans sweeping through Mexico and illegally into Texas presents a threat to the U.S. every bit as serious as Iran or North Korea.
“In comparison to other global threats, the near collapse of societies in [this] hemisphere with the associated drug and [illegal immigrant] flow are frequently viewed to be of low importance,” Kelly said in an interview with Defense One. “Many argue these threats are not existential and do not challenge our national security. I disagree.”...
Congressman Jeff Fortenberry HIT the nail squarely on the head. Gov. Dave Heineman has a right to be outraged. He should use the state police to do a thorough search and find where this rogue federal government has hidden those illegals. The Impostor from Kenya needs to be brought up on charges of dereliction of duty! He's a disgrace!!!!!!
Why, Strat, you must have read, Romanizing America Through Illegal Immigration? It's a good commentary. Yes, if Rick Perry start pushing for laws that Arizona has (and all border states should have) then we might get some place. This also goes for e-Verify which all businesses in the 50 states can use. Fremont Nebraska, has some ordinances other towns and cities can copy besides.

Maybe it's just me but I like the idea of not finding American citizens stuffed in tree trunks on our end of the border. I don't like the idea of people who are not citizens voting on important political issues like who gets in the oval office. But maybe that's just me.
I'm not even going to try to figure out how you extracted that from what I said, the American military has been used for every purpose other than securing America in any way,a soldier leaves for some hell hole somewhere and his country is less free when he returns than it was when he left and he is fed the lie that he did it all for America, and Americans parrot this lie over and over again.
Rick Perry is just another polite standard issue white bread politician who will in the end do nothing, all the things you mentioned are and have been happening for some time so I'm not sure if you just don't get out much or don't watch the news or what.

I'm inclined that China will buy out the land of the Midwest and west and put their investments there. There are no watchmen at the towers anymore. Agenda 21 full speed ahead. I would guess that the military would be more than glad to secure the border and would be able to do so in short order.
Yes,the American military being used for what it was created for, what a departure that would be.....to have the notion of fighting for one's country be more than a trite meaningless slogan to lure young men to their death.
As a typical conservative I suppose he is just displaying the tactics of a political persuasion that created "talk radio"
These people are being brought here to finish us off,to fill the country with ignorant peasant like people...pretty soon China is going to see what a lousy future and investment America is and they will stop paying for it all.
