Burger King has concocted yet another way to have it your way: a gay pride burger.
The Proud Whopper, as it's called, comes wrapped in a rainbow colored wrapper with this inscription: "We are all the same inside." It will be sold through Thursday at one Burger King restaurant on San Francisco's Market Street, that was at the heart of the route for last weekend's 44th annual San Francisco Pride Celebration & Parade.
Burger King on Wednesday morning at 8 AM EST plans to post a two-minute video about the Proud Whopper on its YouTube channel....
At least, Burger King is staying true to their motto "have it your way". This nation wouldn't be hearing news like this if we had not been having it our own way all along...really nothing new here. Heteros have about exhausted all of the inappropriate and lewd tactics in practically every available venue. I guess that we have taught them well. As erroneous as it may be, they are just following suit. Don't be surprised to see transgender cheerleaders or...here's an idea - "gayleaders". If we had had a problem with all of the promiscuity that we have been supporting in the sports, movie and music industry, we may have been able to avoid this. Sadly, we have, for the most part, used it as a model for "relevant" "Christian" music, books and the rest...and all in an inferior way, I might add. How many "Christian" bands and singers...wannabe divas and rock stars are just in CCM because, frankly, they couldn't make it in the secular counterpart.Of course, now many do crossover. Of course, there is very little actual ability required any more. Just moan and whine like your in some mode of seduction, dress like a rock star and chances are highly favorable.
Christopher Robin, valiant effort. have you learned to compost? sounds like they are missing a nutrient in the soil. enough sunshine? I hesitate to go on, someone here will likely tell me to stay on topic, apparently we are supposed to be talking about junk food and gay pride.
Thanks Pentastic Penelope. They raise everything organically, everyrhing is really hearty, and their customer service, especially "Kim", who can be requested is really great. They often have 40-50% off sales. Anyway, I know this is way off topic but the thread seems quiet. I thought tomato plants grew really quick. The seeds sprouted very quick, but weeks later, the plants are still only a couple inches tall. Maybe they go on a sudden growth spurt, but I just thought the process was much faster for so e reason. I started two different species of sunflower as well, they sprouted, grew a couple of inches but then just died for some reason. They were so fragile. Even misting them would cause them to fall sideways into the dirt. I was always like, what the?? having to prop them back up. Anyway, yeah...growing is fun.
Wiggooch from ND, my pastor is not on SA (wish he was) but he has a ministry called"From His Heart" and is on the church channel and local radio and tv here in Texarkana, TX. His name is Jeff Shreve and he is on computer that you can sreamline a live service ever Sunday morning. Heis continuing the Noah sermons this Sunday at 10:30am. His web sight is fbctexarkana.org and you can get last week's sermon, which was so powerful called "Bring on the flood". My son says, he gets convicted everytime he hears him preach about something he needs to work on to be a better christian. Go to his web sight and click on the sermon for June 29.
Mark M says: t just makes me sad that I can not do something as simple as going into a hamburger restaurant without being accosted by homosexual imagery and propaganda--the same companies that appeal to kids and young adults BTW--why should that in any way be a part of my dining experience? I realize this is only one location in one Burger King, but it's the principle of the thing. Our nation has gone downhill. Our nation has been going downhill for many decades accosting us with inappropriate sensual imagery...even in their appeal to children...overtly and in subtlety; disney has had it down to an "art" from the get go.
McDonald's have a gay pride burger also. Go to Wendy's, they stood with Chick-fi-la during their trial by fire. They even had a message,in our town, on their marquee saying they were in with them. We are living in the end times and get David Wilkerson's book," The Vision". It was written in 1972 and so much of what he said is now coming to pass and the dam that's holding back God's wrath and Judgement against a vile and wicked world is beginning to crack and as our pastor said in his sermon," Bring on the Flood" the wicked are storing uo for God's wrath that is coming.

I recently began ordering from fastgrowingtrees.com and so far, I have two apple trees, a lemon tree, avocado tree, and began growing tomatos from seedlings whicb are still only a couple of inches tall, but growing. The apple trees each have four different grafts and will produce eight types of apples and the avocado and lemon are growing in containers since they wouldn't survive the extreme cold. The lemons are growing but young and green. I'm thinking about getting a pear tree as well. Anyway, I'm new to this but love being able to grow my own things. I don't have a garden but am trying to figure out a spot for one. I think it's exciting to grow you own food, to see the seeds sprout, etc.
This is just Burger King trying to cash-in 'never miss a chance to make a buck'. In many ways I couldn't care less what the people of this world choose to do, sure your heart goes out to them because they are deceived, but once you have given them your best pitch (thrown your pearls before the swine?) and they've rejected it, then leave them be. Shake the dust off of your sandals and start looking for the next guy. The problem is with things like this. Parades, celebrations, destroying traditional marriage and family life...re-branding tasty hamburger sandwiches--these things put perversion on main street, and that makes it our business.

how long before someone gets the brilliant idea of growing food on their own land and sharing their harvest in their own communities? (verses an oligarchy corporate centralization that once dependent tells everyone what to think?)

Language gets compromised so the ugly may appear more acceptable. Another example is, liberals now want to be called "progressive." Who can be against progress? It doesn't matter that liberals are well-dressed barbarians, thus anything but progressive. The more bothersome thing is, why do Christians and conservatives go along with them, using their language, such as "gay," "progressive," "gay marriage," etc.?
I'm surprised that they don't just go ahead and call every item on the menu something crude (i.e. "fi-laid- o' fish", bigger buns ..wink wink, etc.) That'll be next on the agenda. This doesn't really shock me but I have a difficult time trying to believe that people are so intellectually-challenged and lack judgment. Why do children even have to hear words that describe sexual persuasion? Oh, that's right: In this country, we do what we want to do. We can sacrifice our children to baal. Nobody tells us anything.
