Ice cold, dead hearts; void of any empathy, compassion, or love of any sort. Godless or not. Deceived or not, I can't ever wrap my head around or comprehend the brutality and utter disregard for human life. Never in my life, even in my darkest days, did I ever even wish for my enemies to be dead or want to kill them. These people, and others, seem to live for the thrill, like wild eyed, machete and gun wielding demons who were let loose from the pit to torture, maim, and kill. I just can't comprehend the hatred, or how one butchers a family and then meets their buddies at the corner market for a sandwich.
