Bible Is Biggest Influence on My Thinking, Says Hillary Clinton

Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a recent interview that the Bible still remains the biggest influence on her thinking, adding that she finds it to be "a source of wisdom, comfort and encouragement."

While promoting her new book Hard Choices, Clinton told this Sunday's New York Times Book Review that she attributes the Bible as the most influential book for shaping who she is today. "At the risk of appearing predictable, the Bible was and remains the biggest influence on my thinking. I was raised reading it, memorizing passages from it and being guided by it. I still find it a source of wisdom, comfort and encouragement. ...

Not really. Consider how general a statement she made without being more specific.

She really seems to admire and emulate Jezebel and Athaliah in her conduct, tactics, and political strategies!

Hello,

This is just another glaring example of our times.

Let this be a WARNING and a CALL to all who truly. Pursue/Follow Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

WARNING: this is a result of a weak and ineffectual church. I/We have spent to much time on our selfs and not enough time with Christ and the Father on our knees. Thus the current downward spiral were in!

CALL: Let's humble ourselves before our God and Savior,
REPENT, REPENT, REPENT every one of us!
Cry out to God for Holy REVIVAL!

Is the life were living, worth Christ dieing for?

Jeremiah 23:29-32 KJV
(29) Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
(30) Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
(31) Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
(32) Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

"Hillary Clinton said in a recent interview that the Bible still remains the biggest influence on her thinking"

Many people have read the Bible and it has not made any difference to their "thinking" - and they have remained hell bound.

Reading the words does not make the grace changes which influence and change sinners into Christians.

As Christ Jesus taught us some have even pretended to be Christian and read their Bibles and called Him Lord, Lord.
But Christ doesn't know them.

I remember the day when a "fair minded" evangelicals ran to vote for Obama, insisting that he was a faithful Christian, and they weren't motivated by guilt. Please note, Hilary Clinton supports freedom to pursue your religious faith in places of worship only. That means that outside the confides of a church, synagogue or mosque, your faith stops and your allegiance to the state begins. Please , be guided by God in Christ, under his leadership there is freedom. Stop idolizing politicians or their parties!

The Methodist church gave the gift of salvation? Silly me, I thought Jesus did that.

Hmmm? I have to consider some things this news report (pro-Hillary propaganda?) touches on

Is it safe to say Satan knows the word of God better than any man living on this earth? The Devil of course abuses and twists the word of God to ruin and destroy people. Something the homosexual community will frightfully find out when they experience the reality those who have twisted and distorted Scripture to justify their abominable sin.

So if Hillary wants to disquise herself as righteous how clever and deceitful to cloak herself as one who supposedly takes the Bible seriously

Oops! I have had the real life sad experience to encounter pastors who do the same thing, even in Baptist churches

And thankfully also the experience of finding believers who genuinely love the word of God and seek by the grace of God and the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit to live it out in their lives

If Clinton states that the Bible is the biggest influence in her life then she would not support abortion and fruitcakeness as the Bible condemns both abortion and fruitcakeness.
