Christian club found guilty of discrimination for requiring its leaders to be Christians
A Christian club at Chico State University (CSU) may lose its status as a campus group because its requirement that its leaders be Christians violates a state anti-discrimination policy.
The California State University system said asking leaders to sign a statement of faith violates a 2011 executive order which forbids discrimination based on "race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, color, age, gender, marital status, citizenship, sexual orientation, or disability.”
But Greg Jao, the national field director for the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, said the group should be an exception since its leaders’ duties are religious....
In the uk there has been a huge police operation to detect Islamic infiltration of schools - big debate and the leftys now want to close all faith based schools ( majority of which are Christian) ANY EXCUSE Eph 6 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
I'll state the obvious. If this university is too brain-challenged to figure out that "Christian" is the operative word here, then they need to close and try to grasp the lower, basic education concepts. Their first clue is the word "Christian".
"because its requirement that its leaders be Christians violates a state anti-discrimination policy."
A mind numbingly inane and stupid policy.
But then that is where we find the blind and ignorant reprobates isn't it.
The policy is discriminatory against Christian beliefs, standards and values.
Psalm 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. 10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Ridiculous. So, say this was a Muslim club and a born again Christian was offended because he was told he couldn't be their leader. I wonder if I would be reading the same headline, or if it would even be the smallest of storys.
What the California State University system is doing is in violation of the First Amendment. And on top of that it is totally illogical that a Christan club would want a Non Christian to be a leader of a Christian club. Liberals are totally brainless. Why would a Non Christiain want to be in a Christian club in the first place let alone be a leader in a Christian club? Liberals are brainless. Why do liberals continue to do things that are in violation of the First Amendment?
