Islamists Kill Hundreds of Nigerian Christians in Past Two Weeks
Violence against Christians continued in Nigeria the first week of June as members of the radical Islamist group Boko Haram attacked villages and churches in the northeastern portion of the country in a self-proclaimed effort to wipe out the predominant Christian faith in the African nation.

On June 4, reported BBC News, a group of Boko Haram terrorists posing as Christian ministers killed an estimated 45 people in a village near Maiduguri, capital of the Borno State in northeastern Nigeria. Survivors said that the attackers invited residents to come and hear them preach, but then opened fire on the crowd before fleeing across a river and set fire to houses and buildings in a nearby village. ...

Sounds like the St. Bartholomew Day massacre. In one week over 100,000 Protestants perished beginning on August 24, 1572.

D Creswell writes:
Why doesn't somebody go into northern Nigeria and annihilate Boko Haram? Otherwise this will continue to happen day in day out. If the Nigerians cannot do it then the western nations should go in and finish it.

Alternatively we could pray for their salvation and that the Lord would supernaturally intervene ?

Just ace thought, D. Creswell....if someone had come in to annihilate those crucifying Christ, our salvation never would have taken place... nothing happens to anyone on this planet without it going across the Lords desk first...God's ways are not our ways. We will all have our day to die, unless the Lord comes for us first....
