Fasting for three days can regenerate entire immune system?

Fasting for as little as three days can regenerate the entire immune system, even in the elderly, scientists have found in a breakthrough described as "remarkable".

Although fasting diets have been criticised by nutritionists for being unhealthy, new research suggests starving the body kick-starts stem cells into producing new white blood cells, which fight off infection.

Scientists at the University of Southern California say the discovery could be particularly beneficial for people suffering from damaged immune systems, such as cancer patients on chemotherapy. ...

On the contrary, a Christian profession has guaranteed many a shorter lifespan. Folks in Western countries, I suspect, tend to forget this.

And nowhere do I see Biblical evidence that fasting has any health benefits, or is intended to have them. If you're going to fast, do it for Biblical reasons, not because some White Smock thinks it's Good For You.

God...would not tell us to do something which is bad for us.
And, Devil-/-Demon-Spirits Hate It When A True Christian Fasts: Because It Breaks The Powers-/-Forces Of Darkness & Satan !

"After These Things THE LORD (JESUS) Appointed Other Seventy Also, And Sent Them Two By Two Before HIS Face Into Every City And Place, Whither HE HIMSELF Would come...

And The Seventy (Disciples) Returned Again With Joy, Saying, LORD (JESUS), Even The Devils Are Subject Unto Us Through THY NAME.

And HE (JESUS) Said Unto Them, I Beheld Satan As Lightning Fall From Heaven.

Behold, I Give Unto (All) You (Disciples) Power To Tread On Serpents And Scorpions, And Over All The Power Of The Enemy: And Nothing Shall By Any Means Hurt (All) You (Disciples).

Nothwithstanding In This Rejoice Not, That The (Devil-&-Or-Demon) Spirits Are Subject Unto (All) You (MY Disciples); But Rather Rejoice, Because Your Names Are Written In Heaven." Luke 10:1-20

The 70 Appointed--Apart From The 12--Were Sent To Every City In Israel, As Ambassadors For THE LORD JESUS In Preaching The Kingdom Of GOD To Israel; Which Included Treading On Serpents (Devils) & Scorpions (Demons) & Over ALL THE POWER OF SATAN !

**TRUE BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIANS STILL HAVE THIS POWER TODAY !

Isaiah 58:6-8(ESV)
Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh? Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

I just bought two books by the same Christian Doctor. I'll post his name and the titles. They are all about detoxing, different, and safe ways to do it the benefits, and also super foods, what makes them super foods, what they do for the body, etc The books are very, well, they're great and he references the bible throughout, etc. Really good. I just can't remember his name or the titles right now but will take a look.
