Gay Marriage Victories Propel Cases toward Supreme Court at Record Speed
The race to legalize same-sex marriage in the nation’s state and federal courts has become a self-fulfilling prophecy, fueled by an unbroken string of pro-marriage rulings since the Supreme Court first weighed in on the subject last June.
As each decision strikes down state bans, it becomes more difficult for judges to ignore the opinions of peers who have found no constitutional basis to prevent gays and lesbians from having the same marriage rights as heterosexuals.
That trend, which reached a frenetic pace over the past two weeks with rulings in Arkansas, Idaho, Oregon and Pennsylvania, has created an aura of inevitability around the same-sex marriage movement. Two federal appeals courts are getting ready to rule in cases from Utah, Oklahoma and Virginia, one or more of which could reach the Supreme Court.

Thanks Michael, and boy, I wish my wife was born again and I could look forward to discussing things such as this, the bible, etc, or even interested.
Christopher000 You and your wife are much in my prayers, and I trust in those of a lot of others here on SermonAudio who are burdened for the Salvation of our families
Nothing is impossible with God, so keep seeking Him and never give up in your praying (there is a spiritual battle that beongs to the Lord were He Himself must wage war for us, NOT us in the flesh, and trust He is always victorious in the battles He fights)

I always took that to mean that it will be business as usual with everyone doing everything but looking up for Christ's return. I know it will be business as usual, but what's going on in this country, and the world at large, well, I never imagined it. I never imagined that the sodomites would crawl out of their closets amd become a legal force to be reckoned with. Neither would I have imagined so called "Christians" becoming sympathetic to their plight and actually using God's own Word to condone and strengthen their voice. I'm probably the only one who is surprised but I'm still shocked by the stories, the victories, the demand for tolerance, speaking up and out about the sin and its dangers being lobbied as a hate crime, the glamorization and glorification, the comprimise by the church, and the increasing level of acceptance by so many who claim to believe in and embrace Christ. Crazy world...a world which no longer fears the creator of the universe, who has the power to throw both body and spirit in hell, but rather, has elevated themselves; assuming the role. Imagine passing over and realizing immediately that something is very, very wrong amd that your eternity is just beginning and will be without end. Yikes
