Could Judgment Be Far Off? American Support for Gay Marriage Reaches All-Time High
The support among Americans for same-sex marriage continues to rise, with 55 percent supporting the law recognizing gay marriage, Gallup reports. It is the highest number in the history of the poll.

"Currently, adults between the ages of 18 and 29 are nearly twice as likely to support marriage equality as adults aged of 65 and older," Gallup reports.

Differences are also seen among party lines, with 74 percent of Democrats supporting gay marriage compared to 30 percent of Republicans and 58 percent of independents. Republicans' support has nearly doubled since 1996. ...

Perhaps more like those tribes carried away into Assyrian captivity. The LORD had a special purpose for the Babylonian Captivity, and it was for their GOOD, not evil. The wicked of Judah by their own estimations were thinking those(kinda like John Y) carried away were cursed, when it was them that were cursed.

Jeremiah 24:5 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.

Jeremiah 24:6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: .. Jeremiah 24:8 And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, ..
Jeremiah 24:9 And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.

MC DC, a good point, with an ever increasing Catholic population you will see even more support for queerness. Catholics are more supportive of legal recognitions of same-sex relationships than members of any other Christian tradition and Americans overall. This isn't even the most recent poll.

Yes, all Christians should be prepared for the Rapture, Pre- Vs Post Tribulational Rapture.

1 Corinthians 6
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.---NASB

There will be many in this country that won't make it to the Kingdom.

Whilst the church has come to an all time low. Seems to correspond doesn't it?

When I consider the end times, I don't really put much stock in meteorological events because many "end of world" events have been recorded throughout history and the weather, etc, seem to run in cycles. I look more at the intangibles, like the state of mankind. I consider how God is under assault, being mocked, and obliterated. I consider the glamorization of Sodomy and the legalization of sodomite marraige along with how even "Christians" are beginning to comprimise. I consider the brutality and barbaric practice of murdering babys and throwing them out with the days trash, and I consider the weakening church as it comprimises and waters dkwn its message to be more inclusive so as not to offend anyone to keep a d even Increase it revenue, etc. The list goes on, but these are the types of things I consider when pondering Christ's eminent return.

Judgment is already coming upon the United States with the increase of deadly tornados, massive flooding and the record breaking cold weather this past winter.
