God's anger over gay marriage may be behind floods, says politician

The leader of the Christian People's Alliance has said it is possible the storms that caused widespread flooding in the UK last winter were the result of God's anger over gay marriage.

Sid Cordle made the comments during an appearance on BBC Two's Daily Politics when he was asked his views on a UKIP politician expelled from the party for making similar comments earlier this year.

"A lot of Christians believe that God is angry over gay marriage and God can actually show that anger," Mr Cordle told Daily Politics. ...

Christians need to get their noses back in their Bibles...God's judgment is not here yet, but it is just right around the corner..... these are but labor pains... As Christans, we must take care that our doctrine is true and pure and according to God's Word... I rebuke sensationalism and exhort those Christians who promote false doctrine... take off your veils, people, or you will be unable to look up!

We are living in the last days. Our world has become comparable to Sodom and Gomorrah. God's Word clearly states that He is in control of the weather - whether it be calm or disastrous. God uses the weather (floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and sinkholes) to bring repentance and judgement to the wicked.

Jeremiah 23:19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

Isaiah 28:2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, [which] as a tempest of hail [and] a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

Numbers 16:32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that [appertained] unto Korah, and all [their] goods.

So, that's why there's so much flooding in Serbia! The Orthodox Church is pushing queer marriage! I think it's more complicated than that. Judgment By Natural Disasters part of the summary for the above:
Gil Rugh said or, wrote:
The perspective of the believer and unbeliever on world events is very different. The unbeliever's level of peace and security rises and falls as the economy, the environment, the political scene, and so forth either causes problems, or seems to be resolved. The believer understands the problem in the world is sin, only God has the solution, and judgment is coming upon all who will not repent. Even being foretold of coming judgment does not change the heart of most....

And not just that but why the continual argument on behalf of unrepentant sinners. what have they done? what has Christ done? Why are christians not laying a firm defense in what God has done in His atoning work? Because you are afraid of offending an unregenerate sinner and not God. I am on the fence whether i would say yeah homosexuality is the reason for this flood but it is not totally inconceivable. but again i am sorely confused why someone defends the perpetrator and not the offended.

And it could also be true, they are not ensnared in Homosexuality they are practicing it wifffully, victim theology has done nothing to reach anyone and a dose of possible truth is now "offensive" victims do not repent, only guilty sinners who know and admit they are guilty do.
