The Jois Foundation, also known as Somina, has partnered with the district ‚Äúto develop an Ashtanga yoga program to replace traditional physical education,‚ÄĚ according to the brief filed on behalf of students and parents in the district.

I talked to my wife many times about my feelings on her going to Bicram, etc yoga. I've talked to her about he poses being sun god based, and she fights me on it, shrugging it off, basically saying she imagines she's not doing that...sound familiar? No good.
It is not ok for students to read the Bible during free time in public schools but its ok for public schools to teach students New Age religions? That really is hypocritical for public schools to be against Christianity and for New Age religions.
