Isn't there a wannabe gangster who posts on here who probably will boast that he sells 'cement' shoes on ebay- 'Ex-jesuit(ic) vatican(us) 'concrete' shoes from the Vatican broom cupboard'

Thank you for the correction, UPS, when they said a comedian said we were sliding towards Fascism, I should have assume that he was going to make white black and black white, Iggy Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits was a great comic in that regard. Now, I will point out that very little has been done about the banking industry, on rare occasions I have put up, Neil Barofsky on the Need to Tackle Banking Reform, (there's a transcript there also) from which, "Between President Obama’s ineffectual proposals and Mitt Romney’s loving embrace, bankers have little to fear from either administration, and that leaves the rest of America on perilously thin economic ice...." Unfortunately nothing has changed since this program aired. Was the comedian in the thread thinking of that?
Anyway, UPS, if you saw some of the totally stupid, (many would be insipid if their stupidity didn't save them) you might forgive me--if you got a chance to see them--and I automatically thought the comedian was talking about the GOP candidates, at least in my state.
Oh, the article I put up also was wrong in thinking people were interested in culture when it was really oil was what they cared about.
"Democracies don’t end well. We are sliding very fast towards fascism"
Democracy??? What democracy?
As for sliding into fascism - No chance! Liberalism will not allow that.
Fascism is about dictatorship and tyranny. Both authoritarian where the authority has gone over the top.
Liberalism alternatively is an evil intent to destroy the basis of society its church, laws, decency and moral standards. Liberalism seeks insidiously to corrupt and demolish society and replace this with a debased and perverted view of community.
Fascism is seen in the political activities of a nation.
Liberalism is not so obvious and being insidious it panders to mans sinful character. It seems also to have a greater range and influence within the nation because people fail to recognise it for what it is.
ocare is the merging of corporation and state forced on the individual, who then might get an exemption (very few) because they belong to some special collective group who then does not suffer as the others..... its time to quit with repeating media soundbites and start to think!
this is how the two party system has been essential, the constituents on one side beg for more state, the other for more corporate monopoly, as they merge together they replace the individual, and nice guys help them along with thought police language... something about this race or that race (as if God sees things by race when there is one human race?)
I must have missed when the president switched parties.
From the Article: "Schneider was very critical of the President’s handling of the economy and he feels certain policies are impacting businesses.
‚ÄúThere‚Äôs not one segment of business under the Obama administration that hasn‚Äôt been hurt‚Ķhe attacks for-profit schools, which is totally an elitist thing from a guy that went to Harvard. I think for free, by the way,‚ÄĚ Schneider said."
Maybe Jim meant Obama is going to switch parties to run for a third term because he does not realize that the amendment limiting him to 2 terms or 10 years has nothing to do with party affiliation. Jim is an independent so he wouldn't criticize just the republicans and defend only democrats.
