Hillary Clinton Gives Glimpse Into Her 'Christian Faith'

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton offered a rare lens into her faith Saturday, speaking about Christianity’s impact on her life, particularly the importance of social justice.

Delivering the keynote address at the United Methodist Women’s Assembly, Clinton praised women in the denomination for their tradition of “taking the social gospel into the world.”

Clinton said her grandmother, Hannah, sang hymns to her as a child and taught her to “never be afraid to get your hands dirty,” and that her father would kneel nightly by his bedside in prayer. ...

As a former RC, but now saved by Gods grace and a debtor to mercy alone, I agree with your comments, how does the love of God abide in anyone who is saved who would not tell others the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ!
I too appreciate the ministry of Ralph Ovadal and Richard Bennett.

I think you have to realize many past, present, and perhaps future Presidents were influenced by Reinhold Neibuhr:

"Man's capacity for justice makes democracy possible; but man's inclination to injustice makes democracy necessary."---Reinhold Niebuhr. This short Wikipedia article will give you some idea where these leaders are coming from.

Matthew 26
26 "For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 "For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels; and WILL THEN RECOMPENSE EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS.---NASB

Something that not only these leaders should think upon, but everyone.

Acts 23: 6
‘I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee:’
Acts 26: 5
‘that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee’
Philippians 3: 5
‘as touching the law, a Pharisee;’
Philippians 3:6
Concerning zeal, persecuting the church

Now see how the ‘former’ Pharisee loved his people after the flesh (including certain Pharisees?)

Romans 10.1
Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved

John Gill’s comments:
‘so now his great love and affection to them, and which he signifies by calling them "brethren":..but either the Jews in general, whom he looked upon and loved as his brethren, according to the flesh; and whatever they thought of him, he considered them in such a relation to him, which obliged him to a concern for their good and welfare’

Should a RC Priest who is then 'saved' and becomes a Baptist-should he not love the souls of those still blind and left behind and like Paul desire their salvation? Think it through.

‘If we do not have love and zeal to reach out to Catholics, all of whom labor under a false gospel, we should cry to the Lord for repentance and a love for all the lost, which has been the hallmark of true Christians throughout the centuries.’ Richard Bennet converted RC Priest

Thanks for your comment.

I'll leave it to others to comment on your own view, but I'll let the greatest preacher since Paul comment (who does agree with Pastor Ovadal) and I also remain in full agreement:

"It is the bounden duty of every Christian to pray against Anti-Christ, and as to what Anti-Christ is no sane man ought to raise a question. If it be not Popery in the Church of Rome there is nothing in the world that can be called by that name…because it wounds Christ, because it robs Christ of His Glory, because it puts sacramental efficacy in the place of His atonement, and lifts a piece of bread in the place of the Saviour, and a few drops of water in place of the Holy Ghost, and puts a fallible man like ourselves up as the Vicar of Christ on earth; if we pray against it, because it is against Him, we shall love the persons though we hate their errors; we shall love their souls though we loath and detest their dogmas, and so the breath of our prayers will be sweetened, because we turn our faces towards Christ when we pray.” C. H. Spurgeon

Christ does not agree with that premise.

14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.....etc

Then Christ says:-
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

That's about right and I don't understand why citizens like Steve R put up such a fight and get so offended when people simply point out the ongoing, fatal errors of the Roman system. Speak out against their doctrines and you are a child of Satan, not saved, and damned for all eternity. Am I missing something? Don't get it.

Sadly even many evangelicals still unwittingly promote Alberto the supposed former RC priest-see exposeUnder article column

At the time I contacted Ralph who then posted in the comments that he had never met Tony. WE need to read his posts carefully and ‘discern’.
Proverbs 26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
It is easy to provoke and expose a 'fool' if we can discern that he won't answer to any scripture admonition. Ask John UK; Kenny; Dr Zoloft; DCJ49 and a host of others who Tony has 'savaged'-Take heed!

Yeah and the grand jury that found the Franklin conspiracy charges fraudulent and indited the perpetrators who made it up on perjury charges, they were part of the cover up too. Sure, that makes sense.
Come on Tony you can do better than that.

Come on this is a joke right???

Politicians suddenly manifest "their" faith when speaking to a church in this case Methodist.

But nobody actually believes politicians do they?
