Christian Censorship Rising: Facebook Removes Culture Warrior Todd Starnes' Cliven Bundy Post

Your friendly neighborhood columnist has once again run afoul of Facebook’s elusive community standards.

This time I was censored for writing something about rancher Cliven Bundy.

I realized I had landed in the Facebook gulag when I tried to post our daily Bible verse. However, I was unable to post anything because Facebook had taken great offense to something I had written.

Please note that this was the msg that Starnes said he posted to FB. Please also note that it had absolutely nothing to do with Christianity : “Rancher Bundy should’ve told the feds that those were Mexican cows—who came across the border illegally to seek better grazing opportunities. It was an act of love.”

Facebook must be something like your Romish Church, John Y., "Rome when in minority is as gentle as a lamb, when in equality is as clever as a fox, and when in the majority is as fierce as a tiger.".

I have no Facebook account and I don't ever plan to have one. But I suppose Facebook took offense in supporting criminal activities? Armed Bundy Ranch Protester Blocks Channel 8 Crew... a very short YouTube and An abbreviated look at rancher Cliven Bundy's family history which is a print version that shows Cliven to be a liar, I almost assume he's a Mormon? Even if We're Christians just like you! -- they aren't.

John Y must watch a lot of Sienfeld

I do believe Facebook is one of those moral challenges for us. I will not impede on this but I will say due to it's purpose, content, and continual attacks on christianity (kirk cameron and ray comfort) it is one of those "be in the word but not of it" and I would have nothing to do with facebook. I won't go on others like maybe a racing forum because of the lewd content; why do christians make distinctions with facebook, I don't know.

mainstream Christianity loves censhorsip. they just say its "judgmental" to speak the truth and hold themselves as morally superior for knowing nothing, talk about the weather and human psychology.

Given the content that's posted up to Facebook at any given second of each day, not necessarily to mention lewd photos, etc, etc, I would venture a guess that this is a single moderator with strong views who has taken it upon his/her self to police what would otherwise be non issues. Facebook is a free for all so it's hard to believe that their policies are being violated in these instances while anyone else can post up pretty much anything they choose without censoring or repercussion.

How can the liberal claim to be tolerant when they are intolerant of Christianity? That is hypocrisy.
